National Standard of the People's Republic of China Health standard for phthalic anhydride in the air of workplace Subject content and scope of application GB16215—1996 This standard specifies the maximum allowable concentration of phthalic anhydride in the air of workplace and its monitoring and inspection methods. This standard is applicable to all types of enterprises that produce and use phthalic anhydride. 2 Hygiene requirements The maximum allowable concentration of phthalic anhydride in the air of workplace is 1mg/m. 3 Monitoring and inspection methods The monitoring and inspection methods of this standard adopt gas chromatography, see Appendix A (supplement). Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on April 3, 1996, and implemented on September 1, 1996 A1 Principle GB16215-1996 Appendix A Gas chromatography (Supplement) Air 4 Phthalic anhydride is separated by polyethylene succinate and detected by hydrogen flame ionization detector. Retention time is qualitative and peak height is quantitative. A2 Instruments A2.1 Whatman, quantitative filter paper (ASHLESS42); or domestic slow quantitative filter paper. A2.2 Sampling clip and air sampler. A2.3 Stoppered test tube, 5 or 10 ml. A2.4 Micro-based syringe. A2.5 Gas chromatograph, hydrogen ionization detector. Chromatographic conditions Chromatographic column, column length 2m, inner diameter 3mm, stainless steel column. Polyethylene glycol ester: 101 silanized white support: phosphoric acid 5:100:1.5b. Column temperature, 175C. Vaporization chamber temperature, 220℃. Detection chamber temperature, 220℃. Nitrogen, 25mL/min. A3 Reagents A3.1 Polyethylene succinate, chromatographic stationary liquid. A3.2101 silanized white support, 60-80 mesh. A3.3 Phthalic anhydride, purity 99%, chemically pure. A3.4 Acetone, analytically pure. A3.5 Phosphoric acid, analytically pure. A4 Sampling Take two circular filter papers with a diameter of 17mm to 25mm and put them in the sampling clip. Take 20 to 30L of air at the sampling site at a speed of 1L/min. A5 Analysis steps A5.1 Control test: Same as the sampling operation, but no air sample is collected. A5.2 Sample processing: Take out the filter paper, fold it and put it into a stoppered test tube, add 1mL acetone, soak the filter paper in acetone, and number it for analysis. A5.3 Standard curve drawing: Prepare 10.2.20.4, 50.9, 101.8, 203.6μg/mL phthalic anhydride acetone solutions respectively. According to the above chromatographic conditions, inject 1uL respectively. Measure each concentration 6 times, take the peak height as the average, plot the phthalic anhydride concentration against the peak height, and draw the standard curve. A5.4 Determination: Take 1ul of sample solution and inject it. The retention time is used for qualitative analysis and the peak height is used for quantitative analysis. 47.4bZxz.net A6 Calculation GB16215-1996 Where: X—phthalic anhydride concentration in the air, mg/m\; Ci+c (, C2 is the standard phthalic anhydride content measured by the front and rear filter papers, μg; V-the sampling volume converted to standard conditions, L. A7 Description A7.1 The detection limit of this method is 8.93×10-5μg/5mm peak height (injection volume 1μL). A7.2 The sampling efficiency of Whatman filter paper is 95% (the sampling efficiency of glass fiber filter membrane or domestic quantitative filter paper is about 80%). A7.3 The elution efficiency of this method is above 95%. (A) A7.4 After sampling, the filter paper should be completely immersed in 1mL acetone after folding, and then added The plug is sealed and can be stored for 7 days. When analyzing, the solution must not be dried. Otherwise, 1 mL of acetone should be added before sampling. A7.5 Maleic anhydride and 1,4-naphthaldehyde that may coexist in the air on site will not interfere with the determination. A7.6 Prevent contamination when installing and removing filter paper for on-site sampling. A7.7 There should be no blanks in acetone and filter paper, that is, the filter paper is soaked in 1 mL of acetone solution, and 1 μL is taken for chromatographic analysis. There should be no response. If there is a blank, it needs to be processed before sampling and analysis.
