This part of GB/T10001 specifies the graphic symbols for public information for signs for passenger and freight services. This part is applicable to public places and related facilities such as airports, railway stations, bus stations, ports, etc., and is specifically used for the design of location signs, guide signs, plan diagrams, information boards, block guide maps and other guidance elements in public information guidance systems. This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T10001.3-2004 "Public Information Graphic Symbols for Signs Part 3: Passenger and Freight Transport". The main technical changes compared with GB/T10001.3-2004 are as follows:
———Add 34 symbols: car ferry, passenger ferry, car and passenger ferry (ro-ro ship), high-speed ship, high-speed train, intercity train, taxi alighting, bus boarding, bus alighting, bus ticketing, card swiping, alighting button, luggage and parcels, special seat for the injured and sick, hard seat, soft seat, hard sleeper, soft sleeper, open door, window seat, office seat, crew room (crew seat), call service, transit visa, weight check (weighing), cargo area, awning, warehouse, whole vehicle, container, container cargo area, bulk loading area, please do not throw things out of the window, and please do not open the window.
———14 symbols have been modified: train, trolleybus, tram, long-distance bus, car wash, luggage inspection, luggage consignment, luggage inquiry, security inspection, railway freight, cargo inspection, cargo delivery, cargo collection, cargo inquiry.
———10 symbols have been deleted: ferry, boarding gate, beware of pinching hands, beware of falling into the water, prohibition of carrying weapons and simulated weapons, prohibition of carrying inflammable and explosive items, prohibition of carrying in consigned highly toxic items and harmful liquids, prohibition of carrying in consigned radioactive and magnetic items, prohibition of leaning, prohibition of sticking head and hands out of the window.

1 Scope

This part of GB/110001 specifies the public information graphic symbols for passenger and freight service signs (hereinafter referred to as graphic symbols): This part is applicable to public places such as airports, railway stations, bus stations, ports and related facilities. It is specifically used for the design of location signs, guide signs, floor plans, information boards, block guide maps and other guidance systems in public information guidance systems. Passenger and freight symbols are shown in Table 1.
5 Application
5.1 This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 10001.1. In application, if other symbols are required, they should be selected from other parts of GB/T10001.
5.2 In actual application, the direction of the arrow used in combination with the actual scene should be used according to the actual scene. The symbols in Table 1 or their mirror images should be used.
5.3 The title color of the graphic symbol shall comply with the requirements of GB/T20501.1. 5.4 The square edge in the graphic symbol column of Table 1 is not a component of the graphic symbol, but only the basis for making the graphic mark. The graphic mark formed by the corresponding symbol should be used when applied. When using the graphic symbol design guide elements of this part, it should comply with the requirements of (GB/T20501.
5.5 The meaning of the graphic symbol in this part is only the general concept of the corresponding graphic symbol. When applied, the corresponding name can be given according to the specific object to be expressed. For example, the graphic symbol meaning "civil aviation ticket" can be given as "civil aviation ticket hall", "civil aviation ticket office", "civil aviation ticket point" and other specific names. At the same time, the English should also be adjusted accordingly according to the specific text name. 1
