GB 4706.42-1999 Particular requirements for safety of hot and cold water dispensers for household and similar electrical appliances
Some standard content:
GB 4706.42—1999
This standard is equivalent to IEC335-2-75:1995 "Particular requirements for the safety of household and similar electrical appliances - automatic vending machines". In the preface of IEC335-2-75:1995, there is the following statement: "This standard should be used in conjunction with the latest version of IEC335-1 and its supplements. This standard is based on the third edition of IEC335-1 (1991).
The Chinese national standard that is equivalent to the above-mentioned EC335-1 (third edition) is GB4706.1—1998 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Part 1: General Requirements", the latest version. Therefore, this standard should be used in conjunction with GB4706.1-1998. At the time of publication of the standard, the versions cited in this standard are all Valid. EC standards are still in the process of development and replacement, and all of its standards will be revised. All parties using the standards should explore the possibility of using the latest version to comply with my country's policy of actively adopting international standards and the principle of equivalent or equivalent adoption of IEC standards. This standard has made corresponding adjustments to the relevant content when equivalently adopting IEC335-2-75, with the following explanations: 1) The name of the standard has been changed from "Particular Requirements for Safety of Vending Machines for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" to "Particular Requirements for Safety of Hot and Cold Drinking Water Dispensers for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances"; 2) Since most of this type of appliances in my country are currently concentrated in cold Hot water dispenser·Therefore, the contents of the original standard involving vending food and articles have been revised.
3) The scope of examples in the original standard is relatively broad. In order to be consistent with the name of this standard, the examples that are not applicable to the scope of this standard have been adjusted, such as: cigarette vending machines, newspapers, audio and video (audio) tapes or video (audio) CD vending machines, etc.; 4) Since such appliances currently have functions such as tableware disinfection in China, corresponding requirements have been added; 5) Since most vending machines are used in public places (public and commercial places, etc.) abroad, while domestic water dispensers are mainly used in households and similar places, their scope of application has been changed to the scope described in the text of the standard. . This standard was proposed and coordinated by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Household Electrical Appliances. The main drafting units of this standard are: China Household Electrical Appliance Research Institute, Zhuhai Yongshui Longjialin Drinking Water Dispenser Company, Shanghai Shanggong Drinking Water Dispenser Co., Ltd., Shenzhen New Century Drinking Water Technology Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Huawei Electric Appliance Company, Zhejiang Qidi Group (Shanghai Qidi Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.), Hangzhou Smart Electric Co., Ltd., and Jinan New Era Electronics Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are Ma Dejun, Liu Zhendong, Guan Jinchun, Jiang Dingshan, Cai Zhengsong, Zhou Qidi, Qian Ruilin, and Jiang Zhen. This standard is entrusted to the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Household Electrical Appliances for interpretation. GB 4706.42--1999
JIEC Foreword
1) IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) is a world-wide standardization organization composed of all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The purpose of IEC is to promote comprehensive cooperation among countries in the field of electrical and electronic standardization. In view of the above purposes and taking into account the needs of other activities, IEC also publishes international standards. The entire formulation work is completed by technical committees. Any IEC National Committee that is particularly interested in this technical issue can participate in the formulation work. According to the agreement reached between the two organizations, IEC and ISO, they have a close cooperative relationship in their work.
2) IEC resolutions or agreements on technical issues are formulated by technical committees in which all national committees that are particularly interested in this issue participate, and as far as possible express international consensus on the issues involved. 3) These resolutions or agreements are in the form of standards, technical reports or rules for international use and are recognized by national committees in this sense.
4) In order to promote international unification, IEC hopes that national committees will adopt the contents of IEC standards as their national standards within the scope permitted by national conditions. Where there are differences between IEC and the corresponding national or regional standards, these should be clearly indicated in the national standards as far as possible. 5) IEC has established a non-marking procedure to indicate its approval, but it does not assume responsibility for claiming that a device complies with a certain standard. This standard was prepared by IEC Technical Committee 61 (Safety of household and similar electrical appliances). This standard constitutes the first edition of IEC335-2-75. This standard is based on the following documents. DIS

22.101 If The interlocking device must comply with the standard. The construction of the appliance shall be such that it is not possible to put the interlocking device in the inoperative state without using the override key.
Compliance is checked by inspection, by manual test and by applying the test finger of Figure 1. 22.102 Access to the service area is not possible in the maintenance area by using only the access key. Compliance is checked by inspection and by manual test. 22.103 Unintended release of liquid, vapour or gas from the appliance shall not result in a hazard. Compliance is checked by inspection and the test of 22.7. 22.104 The delivered product shall not be contaminated by, for example, lubricating oil and corrosive substances. Compliance is checked by inspection.101 The appliance is supplied at rated voltage and operated under abnormal operating conditions. Any operation or influence that may occur during normal use is to be applied.
1 After each test, damaged components or parts may be replaced. 2 Examples of failure conditions are:
Defects in the appliance:
·The programmer stops in a certain position,
, disconnecting or reconnecting one or more phases of the power supply at any stage of the program ·Open or short-circuited components
·Unless the appliance is equipped with at least two sets of contacts that are connected, the main contacts of the connector that connects and disconnects the heating element in normal use are locked in the "on" position. The above requirements can be met by providing two sets of contacts that work independently or providing two independent main contact sets with two independent rotor drives.
· Failure of the wide
· Failure of pneumatic or hydraulic controllers
Error in user operation:
· Incorrect activation of buttons, handles, switches or push switches, interrupting the preparation of available equipment - water supply! - Incorrect opening and closing of doors or covers;
Improper use of maintenance instructions:
· Improper routine cleaning maintenance, the sponge test of 15.2.11 is applied to all surfaces in the user area and the stacking area, unless instructions for cleaning are given in the cleaning instructions.
· Setting controllers, switches or program controllers in the most unfavorable position;
· Incorrect coin collection!
· Incorrect opening and closing of doors or covers!
· Inadvertent activation of a button, handle, lift or push switch; - Inadvertent use by the user:
· Blocking the water supply hole,
· If the increase of moving parts can cause danger, block the moving parts. 3 Generally speaking, the test is limited to failure conditions that can give adverse results. 4 If the operation of the appliance without water can be considered as a more serious working condition, the test is carried out with the water supply turned off. However, the water supply is not turned off during the water supply operation.
2 Appliances with easily accessible openings should be tested by injecting 0.25L of an aqueous solution containing approximately 1% NaCl into each opening. 19.102
If the opening is on a vertical surface, it should be poured towards the opening. Note: For easily accessible openings including coin or credit card guides, 20 Stability and mechanical hazards

Note: Parts subjected to the aging test in Appendix AA cannot be considered as parts that may leak. 22.7 This clause is added with the following content:
Appliances equipped with compression systems are subjected to the following test: All parts that limit the pressure, except the pressure relief device, are in a certain non-operating state and water is added to the system. The pressure is then slowly increased until the pressure relief device operates or until a steady state is reached. The pressure should not exceed 1.2 times the rated pressure and the appliance should be suitable for its purpose. The pressure relief device is then in a certain type of non-operating state. The appliance is placed in the inoperative state and the pressure is increased again until it reaches twice the rated pressure. The pressure is maintained at this value for 5 minutes. The system should not rupture and there should be no permanent deformation. After the pressure reaches 1.5 times the rated pressure, the vulnerable parts may rupture. In this case, the vulnerable parts should be replaced and the test repeated. The rupture should occur in the same way. The appliance should then be subjected to the electrical strength test of Clause 16.3. 1 If the fluid cannot circulate freely through the pressure system, separate tests may be carried out on separate parts of the system. 2 If there is more than one pressure relief panel on the same part of the system, they should be placed in the inoperative state together. 3 If the pressure relief device in the maintenance area can be adjusted, it should be set to the most unfavorable position. The sealed pressure relief capacity is not adjusted. 4 This test is not performed on refrigeration systems.
