1.0.1 In the engineering design of chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and pesticide production equipment, common material stations (also called hose stations or common engineering stations) should be set up near process equipment, pipelines and places that require temporary cleaning, nitrogen replacement, etc. The corresponding common material stations should be set up according to different process conditions and requirements and material properties. The public material station is an essential facility for safe process operation, ensuring product quality and output, and is also an essential facility for equipment maintenance and cleaning. 1.0.2 The public material station is usually not used in normal process production operations, and the public material station should not be used as a common or temporary supply source of public materials in process operations. The public material station is only used as a public material replenishment source for cleaning, replacement, pre-startup preparation, accident handling and maintenance. 429
2.0.1 Setting up public material stations MaterialsbzxZ.net
2 Setting up
2.0.1.1. The public material station usually needs to be equipped with steam, water, compressed air and nitrogen. The steam, water, compressed air and nitrogen set up in the public material station must be separated from the steam, water, compressed air and nitrogen used in the process production itself when entering the device. That is, the public material station must have a dedicated line to supply steam, water, compressed air and nitrogen so that when the device is shut down, the public material station can still work normally. 2.0.1.2 The types of materials in the public material station should be increased or decreased according to the characteristics and requirements of the process. (1) When the device is cleaning and sweeping, only steam, water and compressed air can meet the process requirements, and nitrogen is not required in the public material station.
(2) When the device is cleaning and sweeping, not only steam, water, compressed air and nitrogen are required, but also when some equipment needs steam extinguishing (such as fire extinguishing and cooling of fuel gas heating furnace), fire extinguishing steam should be added in the public material station.
2.0.2 Location of public material station
The location of the public material station is set according to the area with a radius of about 15m, and the location and number of the public material station are determined so that it can serve the entire device. The location of the public material station specified in the following items is the usual location. If there are requirements and the location is specified in the process, it should be set according to the process requirements. 2.0.2.1 Setting up public material stations in structures Public material stations in structures are set up according to a spherical coverage area of about 15m in radius, usually listed near columns, to facilitate the support, fixation and operation of public engineering stations. 2.0.2.2 Setting up public material stations indoors
Public material stations indoors are set up against walls or columns to facilitate the support, fixation and operation of public material stations. For floor-type plants, each floor should be set up and set up according to a coverage area of 15m in radius. 2.0.2.3 Setting up public material stations for tower equipment and vertical reactors Public material stations for tower equipment and vertical reactors are set up on the ground and on the operating platform near the equipment. The maximum vertical distance between the public material station on the tower and the manhole cannot exceed 9m. Usually, one public station is set up every two floors, and one is set up on the top platform of the tower. The connecting pipes of the public material station system on the tower should not hinder the opening and rotation of the manhole cover.
2.0.2.4 Setting up common material stations for industrial furnaces (1) For cylindrical furnaces, common material stations shall be set up on the ground and on each main operating platform. If the distance between operating platforms is not too large, they may be set up crosswise at each end of the platform. 430
(2) For general box-type furnaces, common material stations shall be set up on the ground and on each end of the main operating surface. If the distance between operating platforms is not too large, they may be set up crosswise at each end of the platform. (3) For multi-chamber box-type furnaces, common material stations shall be set up on the ground and on each end of the main operating surface. If the distance between operating platforms is not too large, they may be set up crosswise at each end of the platform. 2.0.2.5 Setting up common material stations for heat exchanger and pump areas Common material stations for heat exchanger and pump areas shall be set up on the ground near the equipment. 2.0.2.6 Setting up common material stations for boilers
Common material stations for boilers shall be set up on the ground in front of the furnace, behind the furnace, near the drum and near the burner on the operating floor. If the distance between operating platforms is not too large, they may be set up crosswise at both ends of the platform. 2.0.2.7 Setting of public material station in tank area
Public material station in tank area is set outside the tank area embankment, on the ground between the tank area and the pump, and on the ground near the tank around the embankment. For large tank areas, when the public material use point of the tank inside the embankment exceeds the usual 15m radius coverage area of the public material station outside the embankment, a public material station can also be set between the tanks inside the embankment of the tank area. 2.0.2.8 Setting of public material station in loading and unloading area In the loading and unloading area, the public material station is set on the ground near the loading and unloading platform, mainly to avoid affecting the operation. For the loading and unloading platform of liquid tank trucks, it is set on the operating platform. 2.0.3 Common layout schemes of public material station 2.0.3.1 Usually, the public material station consists of four material systems, namely water, steam, compressed air and nitrogen, and the arrangement order is generally steam, water, compressed air and nitrogen. This arrangement is for the convenience of construction and safe operation. 2.0.3.2 Installation height of public material station
The installation height of the quick connector at the pipe end of the public material station is usually 0.8~1.2m. 2.0.3.3 Setting of hose box
The hose box of the public material station should be set beside the public material station, and can be set on the side of the public material station or on the back of the public material station, but it must be convenient for operation. 2.0.4 Antifreeze and insulation measures for public material stations According to the geographical environment and meteorological conditions where the device is located, the public material station should have antifreeze and insulation measures. The steam pipes in the public material station should be insulated, and the water pipes should decide whether to take antifreeze measures according to the environment, meteorological conditions and whether they are set indoors or outdoors. When the water pipes in the public material station need to be antifreeze, there are two insulation methods: one is to insulate the water pipes and steam pipes separately, which is suitable for most areas, and the other is to insulate the water pipes and steam pipes together, which is suitable for colder areas. When conditions permit, the position of the water supply valve well can be appropriately adjusted, and the water supply valve can be set in the valve well. 431
3 System pressure selection and pipe end connection
Selection of public material system pressure
Usually, the pressure of the material system in the public material station is shown in the table below. Water
Compressed air
3.0.2 Pipe end connection method
0.2~0.4MPa (table)
0.2~0.4MPa (table)
0.3~0.6MPa (table)
0.3~0.6MPa (table)
The connection between the hard pipe and the hose of each system in the public material station generally adopts quick connectors, and pagoda-type pipe connectors can be used for rubber pipes.
3.0.3 The specifications of the cut-off valves for each medium in the public material station range from DN15 to DN50, depending on the characteristics of the device. The models and specifications of the valve pipe end joints of each medium in the public material station can be deliberately different, but the order of the medium arrangement in each public station should be consistent, so as to avoid the expansion of accidents due to wrong medium connection in emergency situations.
