Introduction to standards:

This standard is formulated for the first time. This standard specifies the residual magnetism limit, measurement method and inspection rules for commercial rolling elements of rolling bearings. This standard applies to the inspection and acceptance of residual magnetism of commercial rolling elements of general-purpose rolling bearings by manufacturers and users. This standard does not apply to the rolling inspection of finished bearings after disassembly. Rolling Bearings
Residual Magnetism of Rolling Elements and Its Evaluation Method
This standard specifies the residual magnetism limit, measurement method and inspection rules for commercial rolling elements of rolling bearings JB/T819-96
This standard applies to the inspection and acceptance of residual magnetism of commercial rolling elements of general-purpose rolling bearings by manufacturers and users. This standard does not apply to the inspection of rolling elements after the finished bearings are disassembled. 2 Referenced Standards
The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. GB308—89

Electrical and magnetic quantities and units
Rolling bearing cylindrical roller
Inspection rules for rolling bearings and their commodity parts Technical conditions for residual magnetism measuring instruments for rolling bearings
Residual magnetism of rolling elements: The residual magnetism of bearing rolling elements after magnetization and demagnetization. The residual magnetism of rolling elements is expressed by magnetic induction intensity according to the provisions of GB3102.5, and its unit is mT.
4 Residual magnetism value
The residual magnetism limit values of various rolling elements manufactured in accordance with GB308, GB309 and GB4661 shall not exceed the provisions of Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3 respectively.

5 Measurement method
5.1 Measuring instrument
JB/T8196—96
Table 3 Residual magnetism limit of cylindrical roller
The residual magnetism value of rolling element is measured by an instrument with a range of 1mT in accordance with JB/T5395. Evaluation of residual magnetism
When measuring the residual magnetism of rolling element, the maximum value measured is the residual magnetism value of the rolling element. 5.3 Measurement environment
Measurement is not allowed on a magnetic workbench and in an environmental magnetic field with an intensity greater than that of the geomagnetic field. 5.4 Measurement method
5.4.1 During measurement, the measuring position of the probe on the rolling element cannot be preset, and the movement of the probe should be such that it can reach any measured part on the rolling element.
5.4.2 When measuring a steel ball, place the steel ball on the workbench, with the probe close to the surface of the steel ball, and rotate the steel ball within a workbench to measure various points of the steel ball. When measuring, it should be ensured that the measurement is made on the circumference of the cross section in different orthogonal directions, and not less than three circles. 5.4.3 When measuring needle rollers and cylindrical rollers, the rolling element to be measured can be held by hand to measure its two end faces and chamfers. 5.4.4 When the residual magnetism on the rolling element is close to the specified value, the rolling element should be placed flat first, and then placed in the east-west direction to reduce the influence of the geomagnetic field for measurement.
6 Inspection rules
Residual magnetism of rolling elements shall be sampled and inspected in accordance with the provisions of ZBJ11020. The sample size shall be sampled according to the special inspection level S-4, and the qualified quality level AQL value shall be selected as 4.0.
