Some standard content:

GB/T 16828-1997
This standard is formulated based on the technical specification "EAN Location Number" of the International Article Numbering Association and combined with the specific conditions of my country.
In electronic data interchange (EDI), it is extremely important to identify the participants and locations with code type. Using code identification to replace all alphanumeric names and addresses is the key to the successful implementation of EDI projects. EAN location code provides a unique, accurate and effective identification of locations related to EDI transactions worldwide. Appendix A of this standard is the standard appendix.
Appendix B of this standard is the prompt appendix.
This standard is proposed and managed by China Article Numbering Center. The drafting unit of this standard: China Article Numbering Center. The main drafters of this standard: Zhang Chenghai, Li Sucai, Zhao Nan. 427

3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions,
Location code: a code for identifying legal entities, functional entities and physical entities. Note:
1 Legal entity refers to a legally existing institution. 2 Functional entity refers to a specific department within a legal entity. Physical entity refers to a specific address. For example: a room in a building, a warehouse or a door in a warehouse. Delivery location, etc. 3
4 Structure
The location code consists of 13 digits, and the specific structure is as follows: Prefix code
Location reference code
N,n,n,NN,nn,Nen.
Prefix code: 3 digits, which is the identification code assigned by the International Article Numbering Association to the China Article Numbering Center. 4.1
4.2 Location reference code: 9 digits, uniformly assigned by the China Article Numbering Center. 4.3 Check code: 1 digit, the calculation method is shown in Appendix A. 5 Coding method and management
5.1 Prefix code selection \692".
5.2 The range of the location reference code is 900000000~999999999. 5.3 The location code is uniformly managed by the China Article Coding Center. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on May 26, 1997 428

6 Bar code symbol representation and application
GB/T16828-1997
When using bar code symbols to represent location codes, they should be used together with the location code application identifier. The bar code symbol adopts (B/T15125. The position code application identifier is shown in Table 1.| |tt||Location code application identifier
Representation format
410+location code
411+location code
412+location code
414+location code
Example: 4106929000123455
Location code application identifier
Ship goods to a physical location represented by the location codeIssue an invoice or bill to an entity represented by the location codeOrder goods from an entity represented by the location codeA physical location
Indicates that the goods are shipped to or handed over to an entity with the location code of 6929000123455, and 410 is the relevant application identifier. 129

(Standard Appendix)
Calculation method of check code
The check code is calculated by the following steps with 10 as the modulus and 3 and 1 as the weight factors: Steps:
Step 1: Number the 13-digit number (including the check code) from right to left: Step 2: Add the values of all positions with even numbers; Step 3: Multiply the result of step 4 by the value 3;
Step 4: Starting from number 3, add the values of all positions with odd numbers; Step 5: Add the result of step 3 to the result of step 4; Step 6: Use a value that is not less than the result of step 5 and is 10 Subtract the result of step 5 from the smallest integer multiple, and the difference is the value of the check code.
Example: Calculate the value of the check code C of 692900012345C. Step 1:
Step 2: 5+3+1+0+9+9=27
Step 3: 27×3=81bZxz.net
Step 4: 4+2+0+0+2+614
Step 5: 81+1495
Step 6: 100--95--5
The value of the check code is 5.

Position Code Application Example
Position Location codes are mainly used in EDI. In the standard message of EDI, the identification of the parties must be done with location codes. The following example is an example of the application of location codes in electronic data exchange. The exchange includes three delivery notices and four invoices. The date of exchange is January 2, 1994. The EAN location code of the sending company is 5412345678908, and the EAN location code of the receiving company is 6929000123453, UNB+UNOA:2+5412315678908:14+6929000123455:14+940102:1000+12345555+++-EanCOm '
