This standard adopts ISO3018:1974 "Measurement of the size of rectangular textile carpets" in a non-equivalent manner. In combination with the structural characteristics of my country's handmade carpets, ZBW56005-1988 "Measurement of the size of rectangular textile carpets" is revised and the content of carpet shape measurement is supplemented. 1. Description of the changes in the main technical contents of this standard and ISO3018:1974: The name of the standard is changed from "Measurement of the size of rectangular textile carpets" to "Determination of carpet size and carpet shape"; the pretreatment of placing the carpet for "not less than 48 hours" in the original standard is deleted; the carpet shape measurement method is added to the inspection procedure; the calculation method of carpet size deviation percentage and carpet shape deviation percentage is added. 2. In 1988, my country equivalently adopted ISO3018:1974 to formulate ZBW56005—1988 "Determination of the size of rectangular textile carpets". 3. 6 Inspection Procedure
