This part does not apply to: --- the specific process of converting paper or electronic documents into PDF/A format; --- specific technical design, user interface, software implementation or presentation details; --- specific physical methods of document storage such as storage media and storage conditions; --- requirements for computer hardware and/or operating systems. GB/T 23286 "Electronic document file format for long-term preservation of document management" is planned to be divided into two parts:
--- Part 1: Use of PDF1.4 (PDF/A-1);
--- Part 2: PDF1.7 (PDF/A-2).
This part is the first part of GB/T 23286 "Electronic document file format for long-term preservation of document management".
This part is equivalent to the technical content of ISO19005-1:2005 "Document management long-term preservation electronic document file format Part 1: Use of PDF1.4 (PDF/A-1)" (English version), and includes the content of the technical corrigendum ISO19005-1:2005/Cor.1 issued by ISO on April 1, 2007.
This part makes editorial changes to ISO19005-1:2005, deletes the introduction, and adds informative Appendix C.
Appendices A, B and C of this part are all informative appendices.
This part was proposed and coordinated by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Document Imaging Technology (SAC/TC86).
This part was drafted by the Fifth Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Document Imaging Technology.
The main drafters of this part: Xue Sixin and Li Mingjing.
