Marking, packaging and storage
The nameplate of the pump should be fixed on a conspicuous part of the pump, and the size and technical requirements of the nameplate should comply with the provisions of GB/T13306. The nameplate should include the following contents:
Manufacturer name;
Pump model and name;
Main technical specifications: rated flow, m/h; rated discharge pressure, MPa; rated boost pressure, MPa; pump speed, min-1: prime mover c.
Power, kW; weight, kg;
Factory number;
Year and month of production.
The pump should be marked with the registered trademark.
Important externally purchased supporting equipment of the pump should also have a nameplate. The transmission housing of the pump should have an indication of the direction of rotation of the crankshaft. Other important equipment that is only allowed to rotate in one direction should have an indication of the direction of rotation. The pump should be treated with rust prevention or paint. All passages to the atmosphere should be sealed. Flanges and welding grooves should be covered, and auxiliary pipelines with smaller diameters should be removed or temporarily supported.
8.6 The accompanying documents of the pump should include installation drawings, drawings of wearing parts, product instructions, packing lists, and product certificates. The documents should be wrapped in watertight plastic bags and placed in packaging boxes.
