Health Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
WS219---2002
Corrective spectacles for children
Corrective spectacles for children2002-03-14 Issued
Issued by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China
Implemented on 2002-07-01
WS219--2002
This standard is formulated on the basis of reference to British Standard BS2738.1-1989 "Optical Performance Tolerance of Fitted Spectacle Lenses" and American National Standards Institute ANSI Z80.1-1987 "Spectacle Lens Fitting Requirements", and in combination with my country's national conditions. The main technical requirements such as optical center horizontal deviation and optical center vertical deviation stipulated in this standard implement the contents of GB13511-1999 "Fitting Spectacles". In combination with the physiological and anatomical characteristics of the head and eyes of children and adolescents in my country, and taking the pupil distance of children and adolescents of different ages as the main reference index, it is stipulated that eyeglass frames for children and adolescents are divided into 10 specifications and sizes.
This standard is proposed by the Department of Health Law and Supervision of the Ministry of Health. The drafting units of this standard: Qingdao Municipal Hospital, Xiamen Eye Center, Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical College, Kaifeng First People's Hospital, Beijing Eyewear Factory.
The main drafters of this standard: Wang Yongjiang, Hong Rongzhao, Ai Yude, Wei Xiuju, Zhao Yi. The Ministry of Health entrusted the Institute of Child and Adolescent Health of Peking University Health Science Center to interpret this standard. Scope
