3 Sheet numbering of topographic maps
3.11: 1000000 Sheet numbering of topographic maps1: 1000000 Topographic The map numbers are numbered according to the international map numbering standard 11000000. Starting from the equator, each latitude difference of 4 is a row, and the south and north latitudes 88 are divided into 22 rows, and the uppercase Latin letters (character codes) A, B, CV are used to represent the corresponding row numbers: starting from the 180 meridian, from west to east Each longitude difference of 6 is a column, and the world is divided into 60 columns. The Arabic numerals (digital codes) 1, 2.3, and 60 represent the corresponding column numbers. Each trapezoidal grid surrounded by the longitude and latitude (see Figure 2 ) is a 1:1000000 topographic map. Their numbers are composed of the row and column numbers of the map: At the same time, the first digit of the international 1:1000000 map number represents the southern and northern hemispheres, and *N" is used to represent the northern hemisphere. "5" is used to represent the Southern Hemisphere. my country is located entirely north of the equator. The 1:1000000 topographic map numbering within my country omits the letter code N used to mark the Northern Hemisphere in the international 1:1000000 map numbering. Example || tt ||The spoke number (commercial map number) of the 1:1000000 topographic map where the capital of my country, Beijing\ (the position marked with "★" in Figure 2) is located is J50. Among them, the line number of the 11000000 topographic map where "Beijing" is located is ( Character code). 50 is the 1·100000Q topographic map sheet number (digital code) C where "Beijing" is located (see Figure 2). Figure 2 Northern Hemisphere 1:1000000 topographic map sheet numbering my country is located in the Eastern Hemisphere North of the Earth's equator, the map range is between longitude 72° and 138° and latitude 0 to 56, including 14 rows and 11 columns of BCN numbered 4344·53. The 1:1000000 topographic map numbering of my country is shown in Figure 1. 3.2 Sheet numbering of topographic maps ranging from 1500000 to 15000 3.2.1 Scale code

1500000~15000 The row and column numbers of the topographic map are divided into 1:1000000 according to the longitude and latitude differences of the topographic maps of each scale. The rows and columns are represented by three Arabic numerals (digital codes) in order from top to bottom and from left to right. If the number is less than three, zeros are added in front. The horizontal rows are represented from top to bottom and the vertical columns are represented from left to right in sequence with four Arabic numerals (digital codes). If there are less than four digits, zeros are added in front. The row number is arranged in the first and the column number is in the last. 111000, the row and column numbering of longitude and latitude of 1:500 topographic map is shown in Figure 43.3.2. The map sheet numbering of square and rectangular frames adopts the 1*2000.1:1000, 1:500 topographic map of square and rectangular frames. The map sheet numbering generally adopts the southwest corner coordinate numbering of the map rate. The row and column numbering method and the serial numbering method can also be used. 7

3.3.2.1 Coordinate numbering method
When using the kilometer number of the southwest corner coordinate of the map rate for numbering, the kilometer number of the working coordinate is in front: the kilometer number of the y coordinate is in the back, 1:2000111000 topographic map is taken to 0.1km (such as 10.0-21.0): 1:500 topographic map is taken to 0.01km (such as 10.40-27.75) 3.3.2.2 Serial numbering method
Strip survey areas or small area survey areas can be numbered in a unified sequence of survey areas, generally from left to right, from top to bottom with Arabic numerals 1, 23, 4..., see Figure 7 for an example. The map sheet number shown in the gray area in Figure 7 is XX-8 (XX is the survey area code). 10

3.3.2.3 Row and column numbering method
Row and column numbering method is generally arranged from top to bottom with letters (such as AB, C, D...) as codes, and from left to right with Arabic numerals as codes. The rows are arranged first and the columns are arranged second. See Figure 8 for an example. The map sheet number shown in the gray area in Figure 8 is A-4A-1
