IEC Foreword
1) The formal resolutions or agreements of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on technical issues are formulated by technical committees participated by representatives of national committees that are particularly concerned about the issue. They express the international consensus on the issue as much as possible. 2) These resolutions or agreements are used internationally in the form of recommended standards and are accepted by national committees in this sense. 3) In order to promote international unification, the International Electrotechnical Commission hopes that all member countries will adopt the contents of the International Electrotechnical Commission's recommended standards as their national standards when formulating national standards as long as the specific conditions of the country permit. Any differences between the International Electrotechnical Commission's recommended standards and national standards should be clearly stated in the national standards as much as possible. This standard was formulated by the 50th Technical Committee (Environmental Testing) of the International Electrotechnical Commission. Other IEC standards cited in this standard:

This standard applies to all electrical and electronic components whose terminals or integral mounting parts may be subjected to stress during normal assembly or repair.
2 Test Ua1: Tensile test (applicable to all types of terminals) 2.1 Purpose
Determine the ability of the terminals and the connection between the terminals and the test sample body to withstand axial tension during normal assembly or repair. 2.2 General description of test Ua1
Fix the test sample body so that its terminals are in the normal position, and apply tension to the terminals axially and in the direction away from the test sample body.
The tension should be applied gradually (without any impact) and then maintained for 10 s±1 s. 2.3 Pretreatment
The pretreatment method should be in accordance with the provisions of the relevant specifications. 2.4 Initial inspection
The test sample shall be subjected to visual inspection and measurement of electrical and mechanical properties in accordance with the requirements of the relevant specifications. 2.5 Test method (see Figure 1a))
2.5.1 Application
This test is applicable to all types of lead-out terminals. Except for test samples with more than three lead-out terminals, the relevant specifications shall specify the number of lead-out terminals to be tested for each test sample, and the test shall be carried out on all lead-out terminals. It shall be ensured that all lead-out terminals of the test sample have the same probability of being tested.
2.5.2 Test procedure
Fix the main body of the test sample so that its lead-out terminals are in the normal position, and apply the tensile force specified in Table 1 to the lead-out terminals along the auxiliary direction and in the direction away from the main body of the test sample. The tensile force shall be applied gradually (without any impact) and then maintained for 10s±1s. Value of applied tensile force:
a) Linear lead-out terminal (circular cross-section or strip) or plug Approved by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision on August 2, 1999 and implemented on March 1, 2000
The value of applied tensile force shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. GB/T 2423.29--1999
Note: For test samples with oversized linear lead-out terminals, the value of applied tensile force shall be specified in the relevant specifications. a) Test Uai—Tensile test
