This standard applies to household sewing machine needles. 2 Reference standards ZBY 17004 Sewing machine accessories 3 Terms and codes 3.1 The names of various parts are shown in Figures 1 and 2. Needle tip Needle without notch Transition cone Figure 2 Needle with notch 3.2 Metric code: The millimeter value of the needle body diameter is multiplied by 100 and expressed in code Nm. Nm 100d Where: Nm-metric needle code; needle body diameter, mm. 4 Product classification 4.1 Needles are divided into two categories: with notch and without notch. 4.2 Needle specifications Needle plane According to the diameter of the needle body, the needle number is divided into Nm55.Nm60, Nm65, Nm70.Nm75.Nm80.Nm85, Nm90.Nm95Approved by the Ministry of Light Industry of the People's Republic of China on June 8, 1992, 210 Implemented on February 1, 1993 Nm100, Nm105, Nm110, etc. 4.3 Type and size QB/T 1514-1992 The type and size shall be in accordance with Figure 3, Figure 4 and Table 1. The surface should be smooth and should not have defects such as burrs, peeling, rust spots, etc. 5.5 The needle should be elastic, and after the elasticity test, its plastic deformation should not be greater than that specified in Table 2. 5.6 When the needle is subjected to sewing test under the specified conditions, the thread shall not break more than once (excluding thread breakage caused by other factors). Table 2 Plastic deformation mm 6 Test method 6.1 Dimension measurement 6.1.1 Measurement of needle handle diameter α Measure along the axis of the needle handle with an outside micrometer with an accuracy of 0.01mm. 6.1.2 Measurement of total needle length L Measure with a vernier caliper with an accuracy of 0.02mm. 6.1.3 Measurement of needle body diameter d Measure along the axis of the needle body within the range shown in Figure 5 on the needle body surface without needle grooves with an outside micrometer with an accuracy of 0.01mm. 22 6.1.4 Measurement of distance 1 from needle handle end to needle hole 212 Measurement range QB/T1514--1992 Measure on a special measuring instrument as shown in Figure 6. Figure 6 6.1.5 Measurement of the distance 2 between the needle handle plane and the needle body is measured on a special straightness tester, as shown in Figure 7. 26 6.2 Inspection of surface quality Visual inspection with a 6x magnifying glass under natural light, or comparison with a standard sample. 6.3 Determination of hardness Measurement location Fix the needle to be tested by metallographic mounting, the sampling length of the needle body is not less than 6mm, grind out a flat surface, use a microhardness tester (load not more than 9.8N) to measure the hardness of any two points on the needle body outside the notch, and take the average value. 6.4 Needle elasticity test Fix the full length of the needle handle, apply a progressive load P to the center of the needle hole on the side of the long groove direction, make it bend 4mm, keep it for 3s and then unload it. After the needle body rebounds, measure the plastic deformation at the needle hole, as shown in Figure 8. P 6.5 During the sewing test, the speed of the household sewing machine is 1000±20r/min, the stitch length is 3.6mm, and the sewing material is 6-layer 130 medium plain cloth. The sewing thread is 14tex×3~~4 (42/3) cotton thread, and the continuous sewing length is 10m. Measure the number of times the needle breaks. When the number of times the same needle breaks exceeds the provisions of Article 5.6 of this standard, it is allowed to retest once for judgment. 7 Inspection rules 7.1 The needle must be inspected and qualified by the enterprise's quality inspection department before leaving the factory, and a certificate of inspection must be attached. 7.2 Inspection classification 7.2.1 Factory inspection The consignee has the right to inspect and accept the factory inspection items in accordance with the provisions of this standard. 7.2.2 Type inspection The enterprise should conduct type inspection on the products in normal production every month in accordance with the provisions of this standard. 7.3 Unqualified categories and inspection categories Inspection items, unqualified categories, and inspection categories are shown in Table 3. Table 3 Inspection items Needle handle diameter Needle body diameter d Total length of needle L Distance from needle handle end to needle hole 1 Distance between needle handle plane and needle body Surface quality Elasticity test Sewing test 7.4 Sampling method 7.4.1 Factory inspection sampling Test method Unqualified categories Inspection categories Factory inspection The consignee shall randomly select 10 packages of needles (10 in each package) from the product batch submitted by the enterprise for inspection, and 4 packages shall be used for the test items. 7.4.2 Sampling for type inspection Type inspection The enterprise or the competent department of the enterprise shall randomly select 10 packages (10 needles per package) from the warehouse, packaging line or market of the enterprise, and 4 packages shall be used for the test items. 7.5 Judgment rules 7.5.1 The inspection results of the sample of 1 package (10 needles) of needles must be qualified for both Class B and Class C quality characteristics to determine that the batch of products is qualified. 7.5.2 If the number of unqualified items of Class B quality characteristics does not exceed 3 (including 3), the Class B quality characteristics of the batch of products are determined to be qualified; if there are more than 4 (including 4) unqualified items, another package shall be randomly inspected from the spare samples, and the unqualified items shall be re-tested. If the number of unqualified items does not exceed 3 (including 3) in the re-test results, the Class B quality characteristics of the batch are still determined to be qualified; if there are still more than 4 (including 4) unqualified items, the Class B quality characteristics of the batch are determined to be unqualified. 7.5.3 If the number of unqualified items of Class C quality characteristics does not exceed 6 (including 6), the Class C quality characteristics of this batch are considered qualified; if there are 7 or more unqualified items, one package will be randomly selected from the spare samples and the unqualified items will be retested. If the number of unqualified items does not exceed 6 (including 6), the Class C quality characteristics of this batch are still considered qualified; if there are 7 or more unqualified items, the Class C quality characteristics of this batch should be considered unqualified. 8 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage 8.1 Marking 8.1.1 Product marking QB/T 1514--1992 The manufacturer's trademark and metric needle number should be engraved on the cylindrical surface of the needle handle, or the trademark and needle number should be engraved according to the needs of the ordering unit, as shown in Figure 9. 8.1.2 Small and medium packaging markings Manufacturer name and address, Product name and trademark; Product model, specification or quantity markings;www.bzxz.net Manufacturing date (or number) or production batch number. d. 8.1.3 Outer packaging markings According to the provisions of ZBY17004. 8.2 Packaging, transportation and storage According to the provisions of ZBY17004.
