This standard is a revision of JB/T8186-95 "Rated power, voltage and speed for diesel generating sets of 50Hz" according to the provisions of GB/T1.1—1993.
The main technical differences between this standard and JB/T8186-95 are as follows: The structure, technical elements and expression rules of this standard are revised according to GB/T1.1-1993, and the recommended power station rated power levels are adjusted and supplemented as necessary. This standard replaces JB/T8186-95 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by Lanzhou Power Vehicle Research Institute. This standard is drafted by Lanzhou Power Vehicle Research Institute, and Zhengzhou Electric Equipment General Factory and Fufa Co., Ltd. participated in the drafting. The main drafters of this standard are Zhang Hongzhan, Chen Yingfang, Liu Chunyuan, Zhang Hongbin, and Lin Zhongshan. This standard was first issued in December 1990. Replaces JB/T8186-95
This standard specifies the rated power, rated voltage and rated speed of diesel generator sets (hereinafter referred to as sets) driven by diesel engines for industrial AC generators.
This standard is applicable to AC single-phase and three-phase sets with a frequency of 50Hz, a power factor of 0.9 (lagging) or 1.0 for single-phase sets and a power factor of 0.8 (lagging) for three-phase sets.
60Hz sets can be used as a reference.
