Some standard content:
GB 917. 2--2000
This standard is a revision of GB917.2-1989 "Highway route naming, numbering and coding rules - National trunk highway names and numbers". This standard is based on the revised provisions of GB917.1--2000 "Highway route marking rules - naming and numbering rules" and names and numbers for national highways and national trunk roads. This standard changes the name of the original GB917.2--1989 "Highway route naming, numbering and coding rules - National trunk highway names and numbers" to "Highway route marking rules - National highway names and numbers". According to the current situation of highway construction and maintenance, the starting point names of 11 national highways, including G205, G208, G213, G221, G302, G307, G312, G320, G322, G326 and G327, have been moved, extended, changed to the end point and exchanged, and their route abbreviations have also been modified accordingly.
This standard forms a series of supporting standards with GB917.1--2000 "Naming, numbering and coding of highway route signs", GB/T919--2000 "Highway grade code", and JT/T307.1-1997 "Provincial trunk highway code for highways and major structures, management and maintenance units".
This standard will replace GB917.2-1989 from the date of entry into force. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Highway Department of the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China. The drafting unit of this standard: the Ministry of Communications Science Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard: Sun Yuping, Sun Liying, Zhang Runting. 8
