After the revision of this standard, the original GB2884.9~2884.11-81 will be abolished. The division of waterways in this standard is consistent with the requirements of GBJ139-90 "Inland Waterway Standard". This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Inland Ship Standardization Technical Committee. The drafting units of this standard are: Standard Measurement Research Institute of the Ministry of Communications, Yangtze River Ship Design Institute. The drafters of this standard are: Liu Huiru, Xiang Zhizhong, and Zhu Feifei. This standard was first issued on December 31, 1981. 1 Specification
This standard specifies the general requirements, model composition and markings for 100-ton class integrated barges for the ChangJang Waterways. GB/T 2884.9—1996
Generation GB 28B4.9~2884.11—81 This standard applies to barges navigating on the waterways of the Yangtze River tributaries. It enables the implementation of river system barges. 2 General Requirements
2.1 Type Tonnage: 100 t.
2. 2 Main dimensions of the ship: total length 30 m, beam 5. 4 m + draft 0. 9 ~ 1. 2 m. 3 Model composition
The model consists of four parts:

4. 1 Each barge is equipped with a signboard containing the following contents: a) injection molding number, factory serial number, standard number; b) total length, waterline length, molded width, molded depth, designed draft, drop displacement, c) name of the ship,
d) year of construction.
4.2 The signboard is rectangular in shape, 330mm long and 200mm wide. It is made of metal material (steel, aluminum or other). Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on June 17, 1996 and implemented on January 1, 1997
