Introduction to standards:

The fire classification specified in this standard is divided according to the characteristics of the material fuel, so electrical fires are not included in this standard as a separate type. This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 3941-1977 "Fire Classification". This standard divides fires into four categories based on the characteristics of the material fuel. This classification method is of guiding significance for fire prevention and fire fighting, especially for the selection of fire extinguishers to fight fires.
