This standard is formulated based on JB/T54247.1—1996 "General Rules for Quality Grading of Measuring Tools and Instruments", JB/T54247.2—1996 "Detailed Rules for Sampling and Acceptance of Quality Grading of Measuring Tools and Instruments" and JB/T3712-2—1998 "Small Torsion Spring Comparator". This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Measuring Tools and Instruments. The responsible drafting unit of this standard is Chengdu Tool Research Institute. The main drafter of this standard is Chen Li.

This standard specifies the quality indicators of qualified products, first-class products and superior products of small torsion spring comparators (hereinafter referred to as comparators) with a sleeve diameter of 8mm: the graduation value is 0.0002mm, the indication range is ±0.010mm; the graduation value is 0.0005mm, the indication range is ±0.025mm: the graduation value is 0.001mm, the indication range is ±0.05mm, the graduation value is 0.002mm, the indication range is ±0.1mm. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the quality level of batch inspection and periodic inspection of comparators produced in batches. 2 Referenced standards

Quality classification of measuring tools and measuring instruments The quality characteristics of qualified products do not meet the requirements specified in the acceptance standards and are classified as follows. 3.1 Class A unqualified

The clearance between the pointer tip and the dial surface of the comparator shall not exceed 1mm. The spacing between the comparator scales shall not be less than 0.9mm. 3.2.4

The comparator shall have a zero adjustment device with an adjustment range of not less than 5 divisions and a travel limiter to limit the stroke of the measuring rod. 3.2.6
The pointer swing time during measurement shall not exceed 1s. The difference between the tip width of the comparator pointer and the width of the scale mark shall not exceed 0.05mm. 3.2.7
3.3B Class Unqualified Group II
The comparator shall not have external defects that affect the performance, such as paint removal, chrome removal, scratches, bumps, rust, etc. 3.3.1
The movement of the comparator measuring mechanism shall be smooth and flexible, without sticking: in the free state, the pointer can return to the left scale line. 3.3.3
The diameter and deviation of the measuring rod sleeve are Φ8h7.
The balance of the pointer should not exceed 1/3 of the scale, where the scale value is 0.0002mm. The balance of the comparator pointer should not exceed 2/33.3.4
3.4 Class B Unqualified Group II
3.4.1 The measuring head should be made of wear-resistant materials such as agate or cemented carbide; for steel measuring heads, the hardness of the measuring surface should not be less than 70HM (~62 HRC).
3.4.2 The maximum allowable value of the surface roughness R of the measuring head is 0.04μm. 3.5 Class C Unqualified
3.5.1 The external defects of the comparator are specified in Appendix B, Chapter B2 of JB/T54247.1-1996. 3.5.2 The width of the pointer tip and the scale mark of the comparator are 0.1~0.2mm. 3.5.3 The pointer tip of the comparator shall be located between 30% and 80% of the length of the short scale mark. There shall be a circular mark of no less than Φ1mm at a distance of 3 to 5mm from the pointer tip, and the mark and pointer tip shall be painted red, black or other eye-catching colors. 2

3.5.4 The marking and packaging of the comparator shall refer to the provisions of Chapter 7 of JB/T3712-1998 and Chapter B1 of Appendix B of JB/T54247.1-1996.
4 First-class products
The quality characteristics of first-class products do not meet the requirements specified in the acceptance standards and are classified as follows. 4.1 Class A non-conforming
shall comply with the provisions of 3.1.
4.2 Class B non-conforming group I
shall comply with the provisions of 3.2.1-3.2.7.
4.3B-type nonconforming group II
shall comply with the provisions of 3.3.1-3.3.4.
4.4B-type nonconforming group IIIII
shall comply with the provisions of 3.4.1~3.4.2.
4.5C-type nonconforming
shall comply with the provisions of 3.5.1~3.5.4.
4.6 Cleanliness
The inside and outside of the comparator shall be clean, and the cleanliness index of the unit product shall not exceed 9mg. 4.7 Life test
4.7.1 Test conditions
The test stroke is 80% of the indication range, and the test speed is 128 times/min. 4.7.2 Test requirements
After the comparator has been tested for 30x10 times according to the test conditions specified in 4.7.1, it shall still comply with the provisions of 3.1. 4.8 Main precision indicators of main parts
4.8.1 The uniformity of thickness of torsion spring wire shall reach 0.001mm. 4.8.2 The glass pointer shall not break when the radius of curvature is 15mm in the bending test. 5 Superior products
The quality characteristics of superior products do not meet the requirements specified in the acceptance standards and are classified as follows. 5.1 Class A unqualified
Should comply with the provisions of 3.1.
5.2 Class B unqualified group I
Should comply with the provisions of 3.2.1~3.2.7.
5.3 Class B unqualified group II
Should comply with the provisions of 3.3.1~3.3.4.
5.4 Class B unqualified group II
Should comply with the provisions of 3.4.1-3.4.2.
5C type non-conformance
Should comply with the provisions of 3.5.1-3.5.4.
5.6 Cleanliness

The inside and outside of the comparator should be clean, and the cleanliness index of the unit product should not be greater than 8mg. 5.7 Life test

Sampling inspection
6.1Batch inspection (before storage)
For large batches of comparator products stored in the warehouse, check the qualified quality level AQL value of each grade of products batch by batch. The sampling sample size, judgment array [AcRe] and sampling procedure should comply with the provisions of JB/T54247.2. 6.2 Periodic inspection (after storage)
6.2.1 The RQL value of the unqualified quality level is as specified in Table 4. Table 4

6.2.3 The sampling sample size and judgment array [Ac,Re] adopted by the enterprise quality supervision department are as specified in Table 6. 6.2.4 The sampling procedure shall comply with the provisions of JB/T54247.2. 4

Cleanliness index inspection samples are taken separately, and the sample size is 5: the operating process shall be in accordance with the provisions of Appendix C of JB/T54247.1-1996; the actual average value of the sample cleanliness shall not be greater than the provisions of 4.6 or 5.6. 6.4 Samples for life test are drawn separately, and the sample size and judgment array [Ac, Re] are: 3 [1, 2] for first-class products, 3 [0, 1] for superior products. The sampling meets the specified requirements and the test data is valid for 3 years. 6.5 Samples for main precision index inspection of main parts are drawn separately, and the sample size and judgment array [Ac, Re] are: 3 [1, 2] for first-class products, 3 [0, 1] for superior products.
