Other maximum working temperature values are allowed to be used in enterprise product standards. At this time, the numbers in the variety code (maximum working temperature divided by 100, without decimals) should be changed accordingly.
4.1.2 Furnaces of various varieties are divided into multiple specifications according to the size of the working area. The size of the working area (diameter × height) should meet the following requirements: Minimum specification: 100mm × 150mm
Other specifications: diameter and height increase by 50mm to 300mm and 350mm respectively. The position of the working area in the furnace shall be indicated on the attached drawing of the specification. 4.1.3 Each crucible furnace manufacturer may choose from the varieties and specifications specified in Articles 4.1.1 and 4.1.2, and formulate its own crucible furnace enterprise product standards accordingly.

General requirements
The furnace should comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB10067.4. When there is a difference with the provisions of this standard, this standard shall prevail. 5.2 Supplementary requirements for design and manufacturing
5.2.1 Overall design
The furnace is mainly composed of a furnace body and a controller, which can be combined into one. The furnace body is a vertical structure, which is divided into two basic structural types: top loading furnace and bottom loading furnace according to different loading positions. The opening of the top loading furnace is located at the top of the furnace, and the furnace mouth is sealed with a furnace cover. The opening of the bottom-loading furnace is located at the bottom of the furnace, and a crucible lifting platform is provided at the bottom. When the lifting platform rises to the top position, the crucible containing the charge enters the furnace; when it descends to the bottom position, the crucible can be easily taken out and put in. 5.2.2 Furnace Shell
The furnace shell is made of steel plate and should be properly reinforced. All welds should be reliably welded to form a rigid structure. The furnace mouth plate should be made of materials with small thermal deformation, and the furnace door structure should be able to avoid the warping of the furnace mouth plate. Except for the furnace shell made of stainless steel or surface-treated steel plates, its outer surface should be sprayed with heat-resistant protective paint, and the paint accuracy should not be lower than the grade in JB/Z146.
JB4311.10—91
5.2.3 Furnace Lining
The material and structure of the furnace lining should meet the performance requirements for crucible furnaces (see Article 5.3). The lining of the C-class furnace should be made of refractory fiber except for the load-bearing and foundation-sensitive parts. The service life of the furnace lining should be no less than 3 years for ordinary refractory lining furnaces; and no less than one and a half years for refractory fiber lining crucible furnaces. However, for crucible furnaces where the lining needs to be replaced at the same time as the heating elements, it should not be less than the service life of the heating elements. 5.2.4 Heating elements
For crucible furnaces with a maximum operating temperature not exceeding 1200°C, the heating elements are generally made of electric heating alloys; for those above 1200°C, silicon carbide, molybdenum disilicide or materials with the same or better comprehensive properties are used. Furnaces using non-metallic heating elements such as silicon carbide should be equipped with multi-tap transformers or other voltage regulating devices, and the heating elements should be guaranteed to work normally throughout their entire service life. The service life of the heating element is limited to an input power of no less than 15% of the rated power at the rated power supply voltage or the maximum operating voltage, and should comply with the provisions of Table 2.

5.2.5 Furnace cover and crucible lifting platform
The furnace cover of a top-loading furnace shall have good fire resistance and heat insulation performance and ensure that the furnace mouth is reliably sealed. The furnace cover of a larger crucible furnace shall be equipped with a light and flexible opening and closing mechanism, and a separate furnace cover may be used for a small furnace. A bottom-loading furnace shall be equipped with a crucible lifting platform that can be manually or electrically operated and can move up and down flexibly and smoothly. The bottom plate of the lifting platform shall have good fire resistance and heat insulation performance, and the furnace bottom opening shall be reliably sealed when the lifting platform rises to the top position. The lifting platform of a Class C bottom-loading furnace shall be electrically operated.
When it is required to open an opening in the center of the furnace body for charging, sampling and observation, it can be proposed in accordance with Article 9.2. The opening should be equipped with a refractory plug.
5.2.6 Measurement, control and recording
The measurement, control and recording of the crucible furnace shall comply with the provisions of Article 5.2.7 of GB10067.4 except Articles 5.2.7.7 and 5.2.7.10 and the following supplementary provisions.
Class C furnaces should be equipped with a digital display program temperature control instrument with a microprocessor and a resolution of not less than 1°C. The digital display should be clear and legible. The instrument should be equipped with an external socket for connecting a recorder and a printer. When required (see Article 9.2), the furnace should be equipped with an over-temperature controller or an over-temperature fuse. The over-temperature control circuit should be an independent circuit, and the controller should be able to select the over-temperature control point. When the furnace temperature reaches the over-temperature control point, the controller should be activated to cut off the heating power of the furnace and make the control system sound an alarm. Unless manually started, the furnace will remain in the power-off state. The accuracy of the over-temperature controller should not be lower than Class 1.
5.2.7 Grounding

The measuring point is at any point on the outer surface of the furnace shell, operating handle, etc., except for the furnace cover and upper cover plate, and 75mm from the edge of the heating element and thermocouple lead-out hole and the center of the furnace lining penetrating fastener, and 90mm from the edge of the non-metallic heating element lead-out hole and the observation hole. The measurement should be carried out with a surface thermometer with a measurement accuracy of not less than Class 5, and a glass thermometer shall not be used. Inspection rules and classification
The inspection and classification of crucible furnaces shall be carried out in accordance with Chapter 7 and the following provisions of GB10067.1. 7.1 The factory inspection items of crucible furnace are as follows: general inspection; safety inspection; inspection of working area size; inspection of furnace lining quality; inspection of manufacturing quality of heating elements; measurement of cold DC resistance of metal heating elements; inspection of short circuit of heating elements to furnace shell, measurement of insulation resistance (applicable to furnaces that are baked before leaving the factory); calibration of temperature instruments; cold inspection of the operation or action of the motion mechanism (i.e. furnace cover opening and closing mechanism or crucible lifting mechanism); inspection of interlocking alarm system; inspection of accessories, including inspection of model, specification and factory qualification certificate; scope of supply, including inspection of completeness of factory technical documents; packaging inspection.
7.2 The type inspection items of crucible furnace are as follows: a.

All factory inspection items (under type test conditions); circuit test;
Measurement of empty furnace heating time;
Measurement of rated power;
Measurement of maximum working temperature;
Measurement of empty furnace loss;
Measurement of furnace temperature stability;
Measurement of surface temperature rise;
Inspection after hot test.
When required (see Article 9.2), a loading operation test should be carried out. 7.3 The technical classification of crucible furnaces is as specified in Table 6. Crucible furnaces of various technical levels should fully meet the requirements listed in the table and other provisions of this standard.
