Notice on Issuing the Chemical Industry Standard "Content and Depth Unification of Chemical Process Design and Construction Drawings"
To all provincial, autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government, and independently planned cities, and all relevant design and construction units: The "Content and Depth Unification of Chemical Process Design and Construction Drawings" compiled by the Process Piping Design Technology Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry has been reviewed and approved as a chemical industry standard, numbered HG20519-92. It will be implemented on April 1, 1993.
This standard is managed by the Process Piping Design Technology Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, and published and distributed by the Engineering Construction Standard Editing Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry.

1 Overview
For the combined arrangement of devices (or small devices) or independent main items, if the pipeline plan layout diagram cannot be completed on one drawing according to the selected scale, the device needs to be divided into zones for pipeline design. In order to understand the zoning situation and facilitate searching, a zoning index diagram should be drawn. This diagram can be copied from the equipment layout diagram into a second base map and then drawn, and sent to the construction site as one of the design documents.
2 Zoning Principles
2.0.1 Divide the device into several zones based on the zone as the basic unit. The scope of each small area is based on the principle that the pipeline plan layout of the small area can be completed on one drawing. 2.0.2 The number of small areas shall not exceed 9. If it exceeds 9, a zoning method combining large areas and small areas should be adopted, that is, the device is first divided into several large areas, and the total number of large areas shall not exceed 9, and each large area is further divided into no more than 9 small areas. 3 Drawing method
3.0.1 The partition index map uses the equipment layout map to copy and add the partition boundary line, indicating the coordinates of the line and the number of each area. 3.0.2 For the partition index map without large areas but only small areas, the partition boundary line is represented by a thick double-dotted line (line width 0.9mm~1.2mm). For the partition index map combining large areas and small areas, the large area boundary line is represented by a thick double-dotted line, and the small area boundary line is represented by a medium-thick double-dotted line (line width 0.5mm0.7mtm). 25
4 Representation of the partition number and the location of the zone 4.0.1 The partitions without large zones but only small zones are numbered as Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3, ... Zone 9. 4.0.2 For the partitions that combine large zones and small zones, the large zones are numbered with one digit as 1, 2, 3, **** 9: the small zones are numbered with two digits, of which the ten digit is the large zone number and the unit digit is the small zone number, i.e., 11, 12, 13, ** 19; or 31, 32, *** 39. 4.0.3 The partition number should be written in the 16mmX6mm rectangular box at the lower right corner of the partition boundary, with a character height of 4mm. 4.0.4 A reduced and shaded index diagram is used above the title bar of the pipeline layout diagram to indicate the location of the zone where the diagram is located.
4.0.5 The partitions of underground pipelines and steam companion pipes in the device are the same as those of above-ground pipelines. See example figure

Preparation instructions
1. This standard is prepared according to the project 90-4 "Unified provisions for the content and depth of chemical process design and construction drawings" issued by the Infrastructure Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry (91) Chemical Basic Standard No. 21. 2. This standard mainly takes into account the fact that most design units, including the Provincial Chemical Engineering Design Institute, still have integrated process systems and pipeline specialties, so the content includes all process construction drawings including process flow, design instructions, layout, piping and various table formats.
3. This standard is based on the "Chemical Process Construction Drawing Design Regulations" (CD41A1A7, CD42A1~A16) issued in 1982, and has been extensively supplemented and revised. The depth of its content not only meets the needs of modern chemical engineering construction, but is also close to the practices of foreign engineering companies.
4. Taking into account the customary practices of domestic design units, the coding method of equipment position numbers remains unchanged according to the original CD standard. 5. Regarding the legends of equipment, machines and pipelines, it has been considered to be consistent with the national ISO standard as much as possible, while taking into account the customary practices of China, so a small number of revisions have been made to the original CD standard. 6. HG20519.126 in this standard is the design specification for construction drawings, which must be sent to the construction department and Party A; the design specifications of HG20519.27~40 can be sent to the construction department and Party A as needed. 7. The first page drawing is included according to the common practice of foreign engineering companies. This is completely inconsistent with the original first page drawing. The original first page drawing shows the location of the device on the general drawing, as well as the specific location and elevation of the pipelines and cables entering and exiting the device. The content of the first page drawing of this regulation is a summary of the legends, symbols, equipment position numbers, material codes and pipeline numbers used in the pipeline and instrument flow chart, excluding equipment drawings. 8 .Due to the current trend of large-scale chemical equipment, the pipeline plan layout cannot be drawn on a single drawing according to the selected scale and needs to be divided into zones. In order to understand the zoning situation, this standard stipulates the requirements for drawing a zoning index map. 9. The equipment anchor bolt table is mainly for statistical materials so that the anchor bolts are not missed. Therefore, it is stipulated that all anchor bolts that have been pre-buried in civil engineering and matched with equipment do not need to be filled in the equipment anchor bolt table, and all others need to be filled in. 10. The pipeline axonometric index and pipe section table index are mainly for easy search and easy inspection of full items: 11. The pipe rack diagram index mainly includes non-standard pipe racks in this table to facilitate search and easy inspection of lagging items. 12 .The elastic cost summary table is mainly set up for the elastic supports and hangers used in the project, including constant force hangers. It mainly summarizes the model, quantity, installation load, working load, thermal displacement, etc. of the elastic supports and hangers required on the project pipelines for easy verification and inspection.
13.The special valve and pipeline accessories table is mainly used for the statistics of valves and pipeline accessories other than those generally used for opening, closing and connecting, to facilitate ordering and construction management. 14.This standard stipulates that the ground design elevation is EL100.000m, which completely avoids the elevation of various buildings, structures and various foundations in the device from being negative. 211
