1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the regulations for the writing and expression of codes for watches, clocks and timers. QB/T 1538—1992
This standard is applicable to the expression of product codes in technical documents and on packaging of watches, clocks and timers for general purposes. 2 Reference Standards

3.1 Composition of Product Codes
The product code consists of the enterprise code and the product model, and the product model consists of the basic product model and the product identification number. There is a space between the enterprise code and the product model, and there is no space between the codes that make up the product model. 3.2 Numbers and letters in the code
Numbers in the code shall be in traditional Arabic numerals, and letters shall be in uppercase traditional Latin letters. 3.3 Enterprise code
The enterprise code consists of two letters, see A1 in Appendix A (reference). 3.4 Basic product model
The basic product model consists of letters or letters and numbers, among which the letters IO and X shall not be used. For specific provisions, see Articles 4.1.2, 4.2.2, and 4.3.2.
3.5 Product differentiation code

A2 Before the release of this standard, the specifications of non-standard series circular watch machines in the watch code can be selected according to the codes in Table 2 that are close to the specifications. A3 When writing the basic model of the product, if the codes of the various parts are not specified in this standard, you can apply to the National Clock and Watch Standardization Center for assignment.
