This standard is a revision of SY5426-91 "Rock drillability measurement and its classification". On the basis of the rock drillability measurement and classification of roller bits, the rock drillability measurement and classification of PIX drill bits is added, and some clauses are modified to make the content of this standard complete, the structure reasonable and easy to use.
This standard is proposed by China National Petroleum Corporation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Petroleum Drilling Engineering Professional Standardization Committee. From the date of entry into force, this standard will replace SY542G-91. The drafting unit of this standard is the Drilling Technology Research Institute of the Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Yang Defeng and Fan Jian. The first release time of this standard was January 1992, and this version is the first revision. Scope

Rock drillability measurement and its classification This standard specifies the method and classification of rock drillability with micro drill bits: This standard applies to the rock drillability classification of roller drill bits and IPI drill bits used for oil drilling. 2 Method for determining rock drillability with roller drill bits
2.1 Sample preparation
2.1.1 The sample is made of downhole cores or ground rock samples taken from oil drills. 2.1.2 The sample specifications are as follows:
a) Cylindrical sample: height 30~80rmm: diameter 40~100mm; b) Square sample: length × width is 100mm×100mm: height 20~100mm2.1.3 The parallelism tolerance value of the two end faces of the sample is less than or equal to 0.2 mmz2.1.4 Before the test, place the sample in a drying oven set at 105110°C for 24 hours. 2.2 Test equipment
2.2.1 The rotating loading device shall meet the following requirements: a) Ensure that the static load drilling pressure is 84UN±10N, and the calibration gauge accuracy is 0.5%; b) Ensure that the dynamic load drilling pressure is 890N±20N; c) The spindle rotation speed is 55r/min±1r/min2.2.2 Depth measuring instrument:
Measure the drilling depth value. The accuracy is 0.01mm

The micro needle head is formed by inserting a blade shaft and a spacer on the drill body. The diameter after assembly is 31.751I1. The assembly diagram is shown in Figure 1.

2.3.1 Install the sample, adjust the depth and time measuring instruments to zero, and start the test device. 2.3.2 Start timing when the drilling depth reaches 0.2mm, and then drill 2.4mm deeper, record the drilling time, and stop drilling. 2.3.3 Repeat the above procedure for each sample. 3 Method for Determining Rock Drillability of PDC Drill Bits

3.2.4 Micro drill bit
The micro drill bit is to clamp two PrC composite sheets symmetrically on the head rigid body. After assembly, the outer diameter of the drill bit is 32mm, the rear angle is 20°, and the side angle is 15°. The assembly diagram is shown in Figure 4, where: a) composite sheet: diameter is 13.3mm, thickness is 4.5mm; b) pressure plate: 45# steel annealing treatment, hardness HRC40~50; c) drill body: 35 chromium molybdenum, quenching and tempering treatment, hardness HB260~280. 3.3 Test procedure Www.bzxZ.net
3.3.1 Install the sample, zero the depth and time measuring instruments, and start the test device. 3,3.2 Start timing when the drilling depth reaches 1mm, and then drill 3mm deeper, record the drilling time, and stop drilling. Repeat the above procedure three times for each sample. 3.3.3

4.3.2 For relatively homogeneous rock, take the arithmetic mean of the three drilling times: for inhomogeneous rock with a dispersion coefficient greater than 15%, take the geometric mean of the three drilling times.

The rock sample for inspection is a homogeneous rock of medium hardness. When the relative error between the initial drilling grade value of the new drill bit and the drilling grade value of the used drill bit is greater than 0.2, it should be replaced.
