This part of DB33/T943 stipulates the investigation of corn sheath blight, the record of seedling conditions and farming activities, and the record of meteorological conditions. This section applies to the systematic monitoring and investigation of corn sheath blight. 2 Disease investigation
2.1 Systematic field disease investigation
2.1.1 Investigation time
Investigation is carried out according to spring, summer, autumn corn or local main planting season corn. The investigation time is from seedling stage to filling stage, and the investigation is carried out once every 5 days. 2.1.2 Investigation method
Select 3 representative local corn fields, investigate 50 corn plants in each field, observe the corn disease situation, and grade the severity, see Appendix A, calculate the plant incidence rate and disease index, see Appendix B. The investigation results are recorded in Appendix C Table C.1 "Corn Sheath Blight Disease Investigation Record Form".
2.2 Field disease survey
2.2.1 Investigation time
Investigate once or twice during the stable disease period of spring, summer, autumn corn or local main planting corn. 2.2.2 Survey method
Divide the fields into types according to corn type, variety and growth period, and investigate 3 fields for each type. The survey method is the same as 2.1.2. Calculate the plant incidence rate and disease index, see Appendix A and Appendix B, and record the results in Appendix C Table C.1 "Corn Sheath Blight Incidence Survey Record Table". 3 Seedling condition and agricultural activity records
According to the conventional recording standards for corn growth period, observe and record the main growth and development stages such as sowing period, transplanting period, jointing period, booting period, heading period, and filling period of spring, summer, and autumn corn or the main varieties of corn in the local main planting season, investigate the cultivation conditions such as sowing period, sowing amount, sowing density, and basic seedling number, investigate the different types of maturity, varieties and area ratios in the observation area, and the control of pesticides, etc. 4 Meteorological condition records
Observe and record meteorological conditions such as temperature, sunshine, and precipitation, analyze the relationship with the occurrence and epidemic of diseases, and record the observation results in Appendix C Table C.2 "Meteorological condition observation record table".
