Terms and definitions of motor vehicles and semi-trailersVehicle typesVocabulary and codes for road vehicle quality
Terms and definitions of motor vehicles and trailers
Terminology of lifting machinery
The following definitions are adopted in this standard.
3.1 Mechanical parking systemMechanical or mechanical equipment system used to store and retrieve vehicles. 3.2 Parking unit
Specific locations in mechanical parking equipment used to park vehicles. 3.3 Transport apparatus
In mechanical parking equipment, the device or machine used to transport vehicles to parking spaces. 3.4 Horizontal Rotary Platform In mechanical parking equipment, a mechanical device that can rotate a vehicle horizontally by a certain angle (usually 180° or 90°) to change the direction of the vehicle.
3.5 Parking Capacity
The number of vehicles that a set of mechanical parking equipment can store at the same time. 3.6 Single Vehicle Maximum Time of Entrance (Ardeparture) refers to the time (excluding auxiliary time) required from the time a vehicle entry (or exit) instruction is given to park the vehicle in the most unfavorable position of the mechanical parking equipment (or take the vehicle out of the most unfavorable position) until the parking equipment can issue the next vehicle entry (or exit) instruction. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery Industry on March 19, 1998
Implemented on July 1, 1998

The types of mechanical parking equipment are divided according to their specific structures or configuration relationships, etc., see Appendix B (Suggestive Appendix). 4.3 Method of representation
Manufacturer specific code
Coding code for passenger car group
Number of passenger cars that can be parked in the equipment
Grouping code for size and weight of suitable vehicles
Storage capacity of mechanical parking equipment
Category code for mechanical parking equipment
General code for mechanical parking equipment
When parking of micro and light passenger cars is not required, the slash and the two symbols following it do not need to be marked. 4.4 Examples of expressions
Simple lifting
a) Mechanical parking equipment, lifting and lateral movement type, can park up to 19 medium-sized cars or less, of which up to 6 light-duty buses or less: PSH19Z/6K-
b) Mechanical parking equipment, vertical circulation type, can park up to 32 large-duty cars or less, and cannot park buses: PCX32D-
c) Mechanical parking equipment, stacking type, can park up to 120 large-duty cars or less, of which up to 20 light-duty buses or less: PXD120D/20K-
5 Basic parameters
5.1 Suitable for parking Vehicle size and weight
For vehicles suitable for parking in this mechanical parking system, according to their size (length, width, height and weight (including the vehicle curb weight defined in GB/T3730.3 plus the weight of 50kg of goods) defined in GB/T3730.2), they are divided into five car groups, namely X (small), Z (medium), D (large), T (extra large) and C (super large), and one passenger car group, namely K (passenger car), for a total of 6 groups, see Table 2. For examples of corresponding vehicle types (defined in GB3730.1) and brand models, see Appendix C (Suggestive Appendix). 2
