Allowable deviation of length
3.1 The chemical composition shall comply with the provisions of HSn62-1 in YB146-71 "Chemical composition of brass processing products". 3.2 The surface of the plate should be clean, without delamination, cracks, peeling, inclusions and green rust, but repair is allowed. After repair, the thickness of the plate should not exceed the allowable deviation.
GB2531-81
Slight, localized scratches, spots, pits, wrinkles, pressed objects and roller marks that do not exceed the allowable deviation of the plate thickness are allowed.
3.3 The plate should be supplied after pickling. However, those with a length greater than 3000 mm shall not be supplied after pickling. 3.4 The edge of the plate should be cut straight, without cracked edges or curled edges. Slight burrs are allowed. Beveling should not make the width and length of the plate exceed the allowable deviation.
Note: Plates with a thickness greater than 15 mm can be supplied without cutting edges and heads. 3.5 The tensile test results of plates with a thickness equal to and less than 15 mm shall comply with the provisions of Table 3. Table 3

4.1 The plates shall be accepted by the supplier's technical supervision department and ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this standard. 4.2 Each batch of plates shall consist of the same specifications. 4.3 Each plate shall be measured in size and inspected for appearance with the naked eye. Elongation, %
(1.=11.3VF,)
The thickness of the plate shall be measured at a distance of not less than 100 mm from the end and not less than 10 mm from the edge. The thickness outside the measurement range shall not be scrapped.
4.4 The tensile test shall be carried out by taking two plates from each batch, and taking one sample from each plate along the vertical rolling direction. The tensile test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB228-76 "Metal Tensile Test Method". 4.5 The standard analysis method for chemical composition shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB54~76 "Chemical Analysis Method for Brass". 4.6 Even if the test result of each test sample fails, double samples should be taken from the batch for re-testing of the unqualified item. If one sample still fails the re-test, the entire batch shall be scrapped or inspected sheet by sheet, and those that pass shall be accepted in separate batches. 5 Packaging, marking, transportation and storage
Packaging, marking, transportation and storage shall be in accordance with the provisions of YB730-70 "Packaging, marking, transportation and storage of heavy non-ferrous metal processing products-General methods".
Marking example: Hot-rolled plates made of HSn62-1 with a thickness of 20 mm and a width of 1000 mm are marked as: Plate HSn 62-1 R 20×1000 GB 2531—81397
