The cutter is placed on a V-shaped iron block, and the end is pre-set. The ball is added between the center and the position of the end. The probe of the back gauge is placed close to the circumferential blade of the cutting tool. The reading of the gauge of the cutting edge .E is read and the difference is taken. 6.2? End blade runout The end blade line is about the same as the end blade line. Method for testing runout: For straight groove cutters with center holes and chain groove milling cutters with jointed shanks, see Figure 2. Place the jointed cutter on a V-shaped iron plate, place a positioning block on the end of the shank, add a silver ball between the center of the shank end and the positioning block, and measure the indicator head at the end. Read the small dial readings on the two cutting edges separately and take the difference. For straight chain cutters with reversed shanks, follow the corresponding method and the runout can be directly measured. For chain cutters without center holes, measure the runout of the end face of the simple cutting edge against the axis of the main body. The detection can be seen in Figure 3: Put the chain on the stopper, and the end can be placed against a positioning support. The measuring head of the chain tip touches the outside of the cutting edge. Read the readings of the indicator on the cutting edge respectively, and the value is half of the value.
