Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Test method for rubber thread Determination of density of rubber thread HG/T 2412.3-92 Test method" Part VI, This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 2321--1983 "Rubber thread - 1 Subject content and scope of applicationbzxz.net This standard specifies the method for determining the density of rubber thread. This standard is applicable to rubber thread made of natural rubber and natural rubber latex, and also to rubber thread made of isoprene-philic rubber. 2 Definition Rubber thread density: The mass per unit volume of the rubber thread sample is measured at the standard laboratory temperature and expressed in Mn/. The standard laboratory temperature is 20±2℃ 3 Principle Put the sample in an appropriate mixed liquid, adjust the mixed liquid until the sample is suspended, that is, the sample neither floats nor sinks, and then measure the mixed carboxylic acid density. This armpit density is the density of the rubber thread. 4 Storage of samples or test pieces Before the test, the samples or test pieces should be kept in a relaxed state in the dark under standard temperature conditions for not less than 16 hours. The test should be carried out in a corresponding environment. The selected samples should be clean, dry and free of appearance defects. During the storage or test, the samples or test pieces are not allowed to come into contact with copper, manganese or other harmful substances. 5 Bubble liquid 5.1. The density of most rubber threads is within the range of 0.9 to 1.11 Mg/m. Therefore, a series of liquids within this range must be available. A mixture of ethanol (0.79 Mg/m) and ethylene glycol (1.11 Mg/m) is a more suitable liquid. For rubber threads with high density, an appropriate inorganic salt solution can be used. Sodium chloride solution can be used, or other liquids that have no effect on the rubber thread can be used. When the density of the rubber thread is relatively high, distilled water and sodium chloride solution can be used; when the density is relatively low, a mixture of ethanol and distilled water can be used. 5.2 Before using the mixed liquid, it should be mixed evenly and without bubbles. The mixed liquid should be kept in a sealed container to avoid volatilization and should be used at 20±2℃. 6 Instruments 6.1 Constant temperature water bath: control the overflow with an accuracy of ±0.5C.6.2 Beaker: not less than 350mL 6.3 Density meter or density scale or other liquid density measuring device with a measurement accuracy of at least 0.005Mg/m. Test steps 7.1 Take four specimens of about 10mm in length from the sample, immerse each specimen in ethanol, and then rub it with your fingers to eliminate dust and bubbles on the surface of the specimen. Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on October 22, 1992 and implemented on July 1, 1993 HG/T 2412. 3 - 92 7.2 Place the beaker with the mixed liquid in a constant temperature water bath. When the specified temperature is reached, place a sample in the liquid. Adjust the density of the mixed liquid by adding appropriate liquid. Mix evenly after adding liquid each time. Keep adjusting until the sample is suspended. 7.3 Test the other three samples in the mixed solution. Two of the three samples must reach the above-mentioned equilibrium state within 3 to 10 minutes. 7.4 Determine the density of the mixed solution with an accuracy of 0.005 Mg/m2. 8 Test report The test report should include the following: Sample source and identification mark; Selected test substrate; Test humidity; Sample density; Test date; Tester.
