Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China HG/T2642--94 Test Method for Tensile Strength of Impermeable Graphite Materials 1994-10-26 Issued Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China Implementation on 1995-03-01 Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Test Method for Tensile Strength of Impermeable Graphite Materials 1 Subject Content and Scope of Application HG/T2642-94 This standard specifies the instruments, equipment, specimens, specimen fixtures, test steps and result calculation methods used in the tensile strength test of impermeable graphite materials. This standard applies to the determination of tensile strength of impermeable graphite materials. 2 Reference standards GB/T13465.1 General principles for test methods for mechanical properties of impermeable graphite materials HG/T2059 Technical conditions for impermeable graphite tubes and fittings 3 Instruments and equipment Instruments and equipment should comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T13465.1 4 Test specimens 4.1 Sampling, test specimen processing methods and test specimen quantity shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T13465.1. 4.2 Test specimen size and shape 4.2.1 The size and shape of the tensile test specimen of impermeable graphite block are shown in Figure 1. 4.2.2 The size and shape of the tensile test specimen of impermeable graphite tube are shown in Figure 2. The size and shape of the tensile test specimen of adhesive castings are shown in Figure 3. 4.2.3 Wind and rain protection facilities should be set up for open-air construction. There should be no defects on the surface of the effective fracture site of the test specimen that may affect the test results. R93 Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on October 26, 1994 R151 Implemented on March 1, 1995 5 Test fixture HG/T2642-94 5.1 Impermeable graphite block tensile specimen fixture See Appendix A.5.2 Impermeable graphite tube tensile specimen fixture See Appendix B.5.3 Adhesive casting tensile specimen fixture See Appendix C.6 Test steps 6.1 Number and mark the qualified specimens. The effective fracture position is clear, and the cross-sectional dimensions of the effective fracture position of the sample are measured with a vernier caliper. 6.1.1 Measurement of impermeable graphite block sample: Measure three places along the axial direction of the sample, and measure the mutually perpendicular diameters once at each place, and take the arithmetic mean of the six data obtained. 6.1.2 Measurement of impermeable graphite tube sample: Measure three places along the axial direction of the outer diameter of the sample, and measure the mutually perpendicular diameters once at each place, and measure the inner diameter at the ends of the sample, and measure the mutually perpendicular diameters once at each place, and take the arithmetic mean of the data obtained. 6.1.3 Measurement of adhesive casting sample: Measure three times at the width and thickness of the minimum cross-section of the effective fracture position of the sample, and take the arithmetic mean of the data obtained. 6.2 Place the sample in the fixture, and then install the fixture on the upper end of the testing machine, so that it naturally droops to the center position, and then install the fixture on the lower end of the testing machine. 6.3 Apply load in a balanced manner at a loading speed of 10 to 15 mm/min until the sample breaks, and read the load value when the sample breaks. 7 Calculation 7.1 Use formula (1) to calculate the tensile strength of impermeable graphite block. , unit: MPa.2 - load value when the sample breaks, N; Where: P- HG/T2642-94 D- sample diameter, mm 7.2 Use formula (2) to calculate the tensile strength a of impermeable graphite tube, unit: MPa. 4P Fill (D1-d2) Where: P—load value when the sample breaks, N; D—sample outer diameter, mm; —sample inner diameter, mm, Use formula (3) to calculate the tensile strength a of the adhesive casting, unit: MPa.7.3 Where: P—load value when the sample breaks, N; D-sample width, mm h-sample thickness, mm. 8Test results and test report The test result processing and test report shall be additionally explained in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T13465.1:bZxz.net This standard is proposed by China National Chemical Equipment Corporation and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Metal Chemical Equipment. This standard was drafted by the Chemical Machinery Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. The main drafters of this standard are Zhou Jie and Yang Taohe. From the date of implementation of this standard, the original standard HG5-1329-80 of the Ministry of Chemical Industry "Test Method for Tensile Strength of Impermeable Graphite Materials" shall be invalid.
