4 Technical requirements
General requirements
4.1.1 Self-tapping screwdrivers shall be manufactured according to drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures. 4.1.2 The screwdriver shall be able to operate at rated speed under the following environmental conditions. a) Altitude not exceeding 1000m;
b) Ambient temperature not exceeding 40℃;
c) Relative air humidity not exceeding 90% (25℃). 4.1.3 The power supply conditions applicable to self-tapping screwdrivers are: a) AC/DC dual-purpose self-tapping screwdrivers can operate at rated power under DC and single-phase AC power with actual sine waveform and rated frequency.
b) Single-phase series-excited self-tapping screwdrivers can operate at rated power under single-phase AC power with actual sine waveform and rated frequency.
4.1.4 Rated voltage and rated power:
a) AC rated voltage; 220, 42, 36V; b) DC rated voltage: 220V;
c) AC rated power: 50Hz.
Safety of self-tapping screwdrivers
The safety of self-tapping screwdrivers shall comply with the provisions of GB3883.2, except for the chapters and clauses that have been supplemented and improved in this standard. 4.2.2 The switch that changes the rotation direction of the screwdriver shall be marked. When the clutch position is adjusted to transmit the maximum torque and tighten the maximum specification screw, the handle structure of the self-tapping screwdriver should ensure that the operator can hold the tool reliably in his hand.
After the clutch of the self-tapping screwdriver is assembled, it should be able to be released smoothly. 4.2.5 The performance of the self-tapping screwdriver plug should comply with the provisions of GB2099.1. The self-tapping screwdriver plug of Class I structure should be made into one piece with the power cord, and its insulation should have a waveform of an actual sine waveform, a frequency of 50Hz, a voltage of 3750V, and a withstand voltage test lasting 1min. No breakdown or surface flashover should occur. 4.3
Appearance quality of self-tapping screwdriver.
The plastic shell of the self-tapping screwdriver shall not have serious defects such as bubbles, cracks, obvious paste spots and cold insulation. The metal shell of the self-tapping screwdriver shall not have obvious defects. The shell coating of the self-tapping screwdriver shall not have delamination and peeling. The nameplate of the self-tapping screwdriver shall be firmly and without curling on the surface of the screwdriver shell. 4.3. 4
4.4 The self-tapping screwdriver shall be designed with a screw threading depth adjustment device. When the screw is threaded to the predetermined depth, the clutch shall be automatically disengaged without transmitting torque.

The self-tapping screwdriver shall be equipped with an automatic positioning device for the self-tapping screws, and the screws shall be reliably adsorbed on the screwdriver to ensure that the self-tapping screwdriver4.5
does not cause the screw to fall off when used in any direction. The connection between the working head of the self-tapping screwdriver and the screwdriver shall be firm and reliable, and the disassembly and assembly of the screwdriver shall be simple and flexible. 4.6
4.7 Noise
The average value of the no-load noise sound pressure level (A-weighted) of the self-tapping screwdriver measured at the spherical surface 1000mm away from the center of the self-tapping screwdriver shall not exceed the provisions of Table 2.
When measuring the noise of a self-tapping screwdriver in a reverberation chamber, its sound power level (A-weighted) shall not exceed 95dB(A) and 97dB(A). Table 2 Noise allowable values

At rated voltage, the spark under the brush of the self-tapping screwdriver at no load and rated load should not be greater than level 2 specified in GB/T755. The reverse spark is allowed to be greater than level 2, but no ring fire shall be generated. 4.10
Input power and current
The measured input power of the self-tapping screwdriver under rated voltage and rated load shall not exceed 120% of the input power value indicated on the nameplate. If the rated current value is indicated on the nameplate, the measured current value under rated voltage and rated load shall not exceed 120% of the rated current value indicated on the nameplate.
4.11 Temperature rise
Under rated load, the temperature rise of the relevant parts of the self-tapping screwdriver shall not exceed the provisions of Table 6. Table 6

Test method
5.1 Appearance inspection

The appearance quality of the self-tapping screwdriver shall be inspected by observation and manual test. The inspection result shall comply with the provisions of 4.3.
5.2 Noise test
The noise test of the self-tapping screwdriver shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T4583. Measurement of radio and television interference level
The radio interference level of the self-tapping screwdriver shall be measured in accordance with the provisions of GB4343. During the measurement, the self-tapping screwdriver shall be continuously operated without load with the screwdriver.
The measurement result shall comply with the provisions of 4.8.1.
5.4 Harmonic current measurement
The harmonic current measurement of the self-tapping screwdriver shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB17625.1. During the measurement, the self-tapping screwdriver shall be continuously operated without load with the chuck.
The measurement result shall comply with the provisions of 4.8.2.
5.5 Voltage fluctuation and flicker measurement
The voltage fluctuation and flicker measurement of the self-tapping screwdriver shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB17625.2. During the measurement, the self-tapping screwdriver shall be operated continuously without load with the chuck.
The measurement results shall comply with the provisions of 4.8.3.
Inspection of the screw-in depth adjustment device
First, adjust the screw depth adjustment nut of the self-tapping screwdriver to the maximum screw-in depth position. Then screw the self-tapping screwdriver into the wall material shown in Figure 1 until the clutch automatically disengages. Metal plate

Inspection of automatic screw positioning
During the test, the cross slot of the self-tapping screw is adsorbed on the head of the screwdriver of the self-tapping screwdriver, and then the tool is started to screw one screw into the wall material shown in Figure 1 in the four directions of upward, downward, left and right. The test results shall comply with the provisions of 4.5.
Commutation spark inspection
After the self-tapping screwdriver runs at rated voltage for 15 minutes without load and during the test of 5.11, the spark under the brush shall be observed. The inspection test only checks the spark under no load.
The inspection result shall comply with the provisions of 4.9.
5.9 Input power, current and basic parameter measurement The self-tapping screwdriver applies torque at rated voltage so that its output power reaches the minimum value specified in Table 1. 5

When the temperature rise of the self-tapping screwdriver reaches the actual stable state, measure the input power, current, speed and output power values. When measuring the self-tapping screwdriver of Class I, care should be taken to keep the voltage at the plug of the self-tapping screwdriver at the rated voltage, and the input power should deduct the line loss between the plug and the power meter.
The test results shall comply with the provisions of 4.10 and 3.1. Temperature rise test
The self-tapping screwdriver is subjected to torque under rated voltage to make its output power reach the minimum value specified in Table 1, and then it is operated continuously. After the temperature rise of each part of the self-tapping screwdriver reaches the actual stable state, the temperature rise of the winding is measured by the resistance method, and the temperature rise of the housing and handle is measured by the thermometer method. During the test, the clutch and screwdriver of the self-tapping screwdriver are allowed to be removed. The test results shall comply with the provisions of 4.1.
The withstand voltage test of the plug of Class II self-tapping screwdriver is to attach a metal box to the handle on the outer surface of the plug, and then a withstand voltage test of 3750V is applied between the rod head and the rod foot and the metal box for 1 minute.
The test results shall comply with the provisions of 4.2.5.
Power cord length inspection
Measure the length of the flexible cable or cord between the power inlet of the self-tapping screwdriver and the plug (excluding the pins). The inspection results shall comply with the provisions of 4.12.
5.13 Assembly quality inspection of clutch release system Fix the static clutch of the release system, and then rotate it 360° in the direction of clutch rotation. If intermittent release sounds can be heard, the clutch is considered to be released successfully.
5.14 Any test methods not specified in this standard shall be carried out in accordance with the corresponding provisions of GB3883.2. 6 Inspection rules
6.1 Each self-tapping screwdriver must be inspected and qualified by the quality inspection department before it can be shipped out of the factory. When it leaves the factory, it shall be accompanied by documents proving that the product is of qualified quality. 2 The test items specified in this standard are type test items, among which the items marked with "*" are inspection test items, and those marked with "**" are non-standard test items.2

6.3.1 The tests shall be carried out in the order of the items listed in Article 6.2. 6.3.2 Except for the parts that need to be provided (such as electric springs and screws for rust prevention test) for relevant tests, the other tests should be carried out on the same prototype, and the prototype and parts samples should pass all tests. If the prototype is disassembled for relevant tests, another prototype can be added. 1
Marking and packaging
7.1 Marking
Self-tapping screwdrivers should be marked with the following items:
a) Product name (electric self-tapping screwdriver); b) Model:
c) Rated voltage and power type symbol, ~V; d) Rated input power W, or current A;
e) Rated speed, r/min;
() Class II structure symbol (only for Class II structure self-tapping screwdrivers); g) Moisture resistance degree and symbol (marked only when required); h) Manufacturer name or trademark;
i) Factory batch code.
Note: Other marks may be added without causing confusion or misunderstanding. 2 Each self-tapping screwdriver shall be accompanied by the following documents when leaving the factory: 7.2
a) Product certificate;
b) Product use and maintenance instructions.
The use and maintenance instructions shall have an independent chapter to explain the safety and technical requirements for the use of the screwdriver, including matters that must be paid attention to during operation, possible dangers and corresponding preventive measures.
For self-tapping screwdrivers that change the direction of the screwdriver by changing the direction of rotation of the motor, it should be clearly stated that when changing the direction, the power must be cut off before the conversion.

1 Warranty period
The warranty period of the self-tapping screwdriver shall be specified by the manufacturer if the user follows the provisions of the use and maintenance instructions of the self-tapping screwdriver manufacturer and uses, transports and stores the self-tapping screwdriver correctly. If the screwdriver is damaged or cannot work properly due to poor manufacturing quality, the manufacturer shall repair or replace it for free.
2 Accessories
A pair of screwdrivers and a power tool of corresponding specifications shall be attached when the self-tapping screwdriver leaves the factory. 8
