Tire Pressure Gauge Calibration Procedure
This procedure is applicable to the calibration of newly manufactured, in-use and repaired tire pressure gauges with an upper limit of not less than 23mia and a gauge type pressure gauge (hereinafter referred to as pressure gauge):
Tire pressure gauges can be divided into two types according to their structural principles: one is the pointer type pressure gauge, in which the elastic sensing element in the instrument produces elastic deformation under the action of pressure, and through a mechanical transmission mechanism, pushes the pointer to indicate the pressure; the other is the gauge type pressure gauge, in which the support with the scale moves under the action of pressure and remains stable in one position, and the scale indicates the force value: both types of pressure gauges have a nozzle head connected to the tire valve end.
2 Technical requirements
