UDC 629. 123. 4. 046 National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 14655- 93 General rules for Ro/Ro ship-to-shore connection Promulgated on October 16, 1993 State Bureau of Technical Supervision Implementation on July 1, 1994 W.bzsoso.cOI connection. National Standard of the People's Republic of China Basic rules for Ro/Ro ship-ia-share connection Gencral rules for Ro/Ro ship-ia-share connectionGB/T 14655 93 This standard is equivalent to IS()6812-19832 Connection between ro/ro ship and shore - Connection between the terminal and the ship with a self-propelled ramp 1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the main design dimensions and basic requirements for the connection between ro/ro ship and shore. This standard is applicable to ro/ro terminals that accept ro/ro ships with self-propelled ramps. It is not applicable to special terminals that accept train ferries, ships without self-propelled ramps, etc. 2 Terminology 2.1 Ro/Ro terminalRo/Ro terminal is a port facility that accepts ro/ro ships under normal water level and ship loading conditions, which allows cargo to be loaded and unloaded in a rolling manner. The dock may have one or more docking positions for liquid cargo ships and be equipped with fixed and (or) adjustable shore ramps. 2.2 Lap limit line It is a boundary line that limits the minimum distance between the landing end of the ramp and the end of the channel. As shown in Figure 1. The fixed shore ramp is the outer end of the channel. 2.3 Fixed shore ramp Tramp The fixed ramp extending from the half-water surface of the pier to the outer end of the pier: the normal end of the boat can be built on it, as shown in Figure 2, the outer end of the boat head is the center of the pier. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on October 16, 1993. Implemented on July 1, 1994. WGE/T14655--93. 2.4 Adjustable shore ramp The connecting body between the boat and the pier can be adjusted vertically with the change of the ship's position. Its fixed end is hinged on the supporting structure of the adjustable end of the shore. The boat can be pulled up to the shore. As shown in Figure 3. Adjustable shore ramp Figure 3 Normal water level change 2.5 Adjustable shore ramp levulvarintian The water level variation range that can ensure that the ro-ro ship is properly brought into the loading and unloading operation. 2.6 Normal high water level, high murmal warer level The high water level that can ensure the ro-ro ship to dock and carry out loading and unloading operations. 2.7 Normal low water level lower water level] The low water level that can ensure the ro-ro ship to dock and carry out loading and unloading operations. 2.8 Ro/Ro ships A ship with a rolling mode for loading and unloading of cargo units. The movement of each cargo unit is carried out by its own wheels or temporary conveying system. 2.9 Gangplank A channel device that can be installed on the ro-ro ship and can adapt to water changes. When it is lowered and placed on the dock, it forms a connecting channel between the ship and a ramp or pier. 2.10 Larp An extension part that usually replaces the end of the ship's gangway. It can make a smooth transition between operations. 2.11 Thresthold beight The height of the water surface at the junction of the boat ramp and the boat pier at the opening position of the door or the gate, as shown in Figure 4. Figure 3 Technical requirements 3.1 Ramp 3.1.1 General 3.1.1.1 When the boat ramp is overlapped with the ramp, the distance between the overlap limit line and the outer end line of the ramp shall not be less than 11. There should be no permanent obstacles in the boat ramp landing area. In addition, ships with long ramps can dock at the pier by increasing the landing distance of the ramp, and it is allowed to exceed the boat ramp landing area. Usually the landing area is limited to 4m. 2 W.GB/T 1465593 3.1.1.2 To ensure the docking of ships, there should be no obstacles in the waters outside the vertical end face of the ramp. 3.1.1.3 The clear width of the channel used for double-line operation and various forms of cargo loading and unloading operations shall be at least 9m. The minimum clear width of the channel used for single-line operation of road vehicles or trailers is recommended to be 5m. 3.1.1.4 Considering the influence of the slope change of the ramp, the clear height above the ramp surface is generally at least 8m, which can also be appropriately reduced according to actual conditions. Note: If a double-layer shore ramp is set, the clear height above the ramp surface can be considered to be reduced. 3.1.1.5 The design load of the shore ramp shall comply with the relevant road regulations, and the deadweight of the ship's gangway shall be considered. In addition, the weight of the cargo and equipment to be loaded and unloaded on the ramp should be considered. 3.1.1.6 The passage for pedestrians to board and disembark should not pass through the ramp and the shore ramp. If it is not possible to separate people and vehicles due to site reasons, the pedestrian passage should be separated from the lane by safety barriers or other methods that meet safety requirements. 3.1.1.7 The design and construction of the ramp should ensure that it has sufficient traction and adhesion under various operating conditions. 3.1.1.8 In order to prevent the ramp from being separated from the shore ramp due to sudden external forces, mooring points that meet the requirements should be set. 3.1.1.9 The change of transition slope between running surfaces and the slope composed of short ridges should be appropriately considered according to the bottom clearance of vehicles and loading and unloading equipment, wheelbase and protrusions. Generally, the transition slope between shore ramps or between the ramp and the shore ramp is recommended to be 1:8, as shown in Figure 5. This is the maximum position that can be taken to ensure smooth passage of cargo. (a) Note: 1. The value of the value is determined according to the transportation equipment of the loading part. 3.1.2 Fixed bank ramp Figure: The slope protection degree of the passage 3. 1. 2. 1 *When the water level change of the E. belt at the berth does not exceed 1.5m, a fixed bank ramp can be used to meet the requirements of the lap joint between the ro-ro ship and the board. 3.1.2.2 Fixed bank ramps can be divided into two types: A type and B type. 3.1.2.3 Type A bank ramps are at least 0.25m above the normal high water level at the lap limit line of the ship ramp, and no more than 1.75m above the normal low water level. Its side view is shown in Figure 6. Type A bank ramps are used to accommodate ro-ro ships in any loading state. The landing end of the ship ramp can be placed within this height range. Its side view is shown in Figure 7. Type B shore ramp is used to receive the ship loaded on it in any loading state. The landing end of the ramp can rise to the normal level and fall to the normal level. Figure 7 Type B fixed shore ramp Normal high water level Normal low water level 3.1.2.5 When the water level change is 1.5 m, in order to ensure that the ro-ro ship with a certain height can be connected to the shore, type A or type B fixed shore ramp can be used. When the normal water level change is less than 1.5 m, according to the change of the port water level and the range of receiving ships, a slope with a height between type A and type B can be selected. The normal low water level of the Type A ramp and the positive high water level of the Type B ramp are 25m apart. Therefore, when the water level change is less than 0.25m, a type of ramp that meets the requirements of the Type A ramp can be adopted. 3.1.2.6 The net width of the fixed ramp should be 32m or the width of the largest ship moored at this wharf. 3.1.2.7 The slope of the ramp outside the ramp landing area should be limited to 1:10 under normal circumstances. The inner side of the ramp should be consistent with the direction of the collision line. 3.1.3 Adjustable ramps 3.1.3.1 When the normal water level changes by more than 1.5 m, adjustable ramps and other shore facilities should be used to ensure that the net water level change relative to the ramp does not exceed 1.5 m. 14655-93 3.1.3.2 The adjustable bank ramp should be able to at least drop to a height of 1.75 from the normal low water level and rise to a height of 1.5Ⅱ from the positive high water level at the overlap limit line, as shown in Figure 8. Vessel type sugar water Shipyard board holding ocean area Normal high water package Positive lag water level Figure 8 Adjustable slope - height above the water surface Full replacement removal line 3.1.3.3 The length of the adjustable bank ramp should be determined based on the maximum working slope not exceeding 1110 under normal circumstances. 3.1.3.4 The outer end of the adjustable bank ramp should be wide enough to meet the overlap requirements of the largest ro-ro ship accepted. Usually the outer end of the adjustable ramp is unfolded, and its side surface should be kept flat and free of obstacles, so as to allow the maximum eccentricity between the centerline of the ship and the centerline of the adjustable ramp when the ramp is overlapped. The fender used to protect the adjustable ramp should not have any restrictions on the width of the ship. The outer end of the adjustable ramp is shown in Figure 9. Unobstructed area Fender line Figure Adjustable ramp - outer end Note: The distance between the fender line and the adjustable ramp should be selected according to the ships docked at the terminal. 3.1.3.5 The side view of the adjustable ramp is shown in Figure 10. This is consistent with Figures 6 and 7 3.2 Ship ramp 3.2.1 When a ship ramp is equipped on a ro-ro ship, it should be considered to adapt to the change of its own personnel and the change of water level relative to the shore ramp by at least 1.5m. 3.2.2 The outer end of the ship ramp should be equipped with a wing plate. For the ramp that is not equipped with a wing plate, a wing plate alternative device (such as a block, etc.) should be equipped at its board end to ensure smooth splashing between the running surfaces. 3.2.3 The companion end of the ship ramp should be 0.25~ The height range of 3m can be connected to the A-type or B-type shore ramp. Therefore, when equipping the ship ramp of the ro-ro ship, it should be considered whether it can meet the requirements of the connection with the A-type shore ramp or the B-type shore ramp.
