This part is Part 3 of GB/T10001. This part replaces GB7T7058-1986 "Graphic Symbols for Railway Passenger Services". The main difference between this part and GB/T7058-1986 is that passenger and freight symbols for civil aviation, highways, etc. are added. Appendix A of this part is a normative appendix.
This part is proposed by China Standardization Research Institute. This part is approved by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Graphic Symbols. The drafting units of this part are China Standardization Research Institute, China Civil Aviation Administration, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, Beijing Railway Railway Company, and Standard Metrology Institute of the Ministry of Railways. This part of GB/T10001 specifies the public information graphic symbols for passenger and freight service signs (hereinafter referred to as graphic symbols).
This part applies to facilities and public places related to passenger and freight services, as well as publications and other information carriers. 2 Normative references
The clauses in the following documents become clauses of this part through reference in this part of GB/T 10001. For all referenced documents with a date, all subsequent amendments (excluding the content with lapses) or revisions are not applicable to this part. However, the parties who reach an agreement based on this part are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. 6.1 Passenger and freight symbols are used in conjunction with other parts of GB/T10001 and other relevant standards. If general symbols are involved, they should be selected from GB/T10001.1; if tourism facilities and service symbols are involved, they should be selected from GH/T10001.2; if safety symbols are involved, they should be selected from GB 2894.
6.2 The use of graphic signs shall comply with the requirements of GB/T15566, GB/T 10001.3—2004
