This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage conditions of JF1 base enclosed terminal blocks.
This standard applies to JF1 base enclosed terminal blocks (hereinafter referred to as terminal blocks) with a cross-section of 0.5 to 10 mm for connecting round copper wires in circuits with an AC frequency of 50 Hz (or 60 Hz), a rated voltage of 660 V and below or a DC voltage of 440 V and below. Technical requirements
Overall dimensions
The terminal block must be manufactured in accordance with the product drawings and design documents approved through the prescribed procedures. 4.1 Normal working conditions
Number of circuits
a. The ambient air temperature is -25 to +40℃; JB/T 6476-1992
b. The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m; c. When the maximum temperature is +40℃, the relative humidity shall not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity can be achieved at lower temperatures. The average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, and the average minimum temperature of the month is +25℃. Condensation on the surface of the product due to temperature changes shall be taken into account;
d. The pollution level is level 3;
e. The installation category is category 1.
4.2 General requirements
4.2.1 Appearance
8. The surface roughness of the parts and the appearance quality of the coating shall comply with the requirements of the drawings and design documents. The surface of metal parts shall not have obvious burrs or cracks. The surface of plastic parts shall be flat and shiny, without cracks, flash, dark bubbles and other defects; each circuit on the terminal block shall be marked in an obvious place; b.
The recommended color of the insulating parts is fruit green;
The terminal block shall have a transparent cover.
4.2.2 Dimensions
The overall dimensions and installation dimensions shall comply with the provisions of Article 3.3. The plating thickness of metal parts shall comply with the requirements of the drawings. a.
The rated cross-section of the terminal shall be verified in accordance with the provisions of Article 5.3.6. The verification gauge shall be able to enter the fastening device of the terminal by its own weight; b.
The minimum creepage distance is 10mm and the minimum electrical clearance is 8mm. c.
4.3 Performance requirements
4.3.1 Insulation and shield
a. They shall be made of flame-retardant thermoplastics and be able to withstand the specified fire hazard test. The residual flame shall be extinguished within 30 seconds after the test; b. The comparative tracking index (CTI) of the insulating material shall be greater than or equal to 175.4.3.2 Mechanical strength of terminals
Perform the mechanical strength test of the terminals in accordance with 5.3.2. After the test, the terminals are allowed to be damaged, but it shall not affect the use. 4.3.3 Clamping performance of terminals and wires Perform the clamping performance test in accordance with 5.3.3. After the test, the end of the wire shall not be damaged to affect the subsequent use. 4.3.4 Tensile strength
Perform the tensile test in accordance with 5.3.4. During the test, the wire shall not be loose from the terminal or pulled off near the fastener. After the test, the terminal or wire is allowed to be damaged, but it shall not affect normal use. The voltage drop value before and after the test shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.10.
4.3.5 Tension and distortion resistance
Perform the tension and distortion test in accordance with Article 5.3.5. During the entire test process, no wire should be damaged or pulled out of the terminal. 4.3.6 Vibration resistance
Perform the vibration test in accordance with Article 5.3.7. During the entire vibration test, the circuit should have no poor contact. After the test, there is no mechanical damage or deformation of the terminal block, no loosening of fasteners, and no fracture damage to the wire. 4.3.7 Low temperature resistance
Perform the low temperature test in accordance with Article 5.3.8. After the test, there should be no cracks or damage. At the same time, it can continue to be used normally. 4.3.8 Dielectric properties
Perform a dielectric strength test in accordance with 5.4.1. The terminal block should be able to withstand a power frequency withstand voltage test of 50Hz, 2500V, and 1min. During the test, there should be no breakdown or surface flashover. 4.3.9 Moisture and heat resistance
The terminal block should be able to withstand a moist and hot environment. After the alternating moisture and heat test in accordance with 5.4.2, the insulation resistance should not be less than 1.5MQ, and it can withstand a power frequency withstand voltage test of 50Hz, 2000V, and 1min. During the test, there should be no breakdown or surface flashover. 3
4.3.10 Voltage drop

Before and after the tension, temperature rise and short-time withstand current tests, the terminal block should measure the voltage drop in accordance with 5.4.3. Before the test, the voltage drop shall not exceed 3.2mV. After the test, the voltage drop shall not exceed 1.5 times the value measured before the test. 4.3.11 Temperature rise
The terminal block shall be connected to the current specified in Table 3 and the temperature rise test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 5.4.4. The temperature rise of the terminal block shall not exceed 45K. The voltage drop before and after the test shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.10. Table 3

4.3.12 Short-time withstand current
Temperature rise test current
Short-time withstand current test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 5.4.5. The terminal block shall be able to withstand the test of short-time current of 1s with the maximum cross-section of the connecting wire of 120A/mm*. After the test, no damage that affects the use shall occur. The voltage drop before and after the test shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.10. 5 Test method
5.1 Test preparation
5.1.1 The terminal block used for the test should be new and clean, and installed in accordance with normal use. 5.1.2 The end of the wire with a cross-section of 0.5~2.5mm* used in the test should be stripped of a 5mm long insulation layer. The end of the wire with a cross-section of 4~10mm* should be stripped of a 9mm long insulation layer.
5.1.3 Test conditions: Unless otherwise specified, all tests must be carried out under normal test atmospheric conditions. 5.2 Dimension and appearance inspection
5.2.1 The dimensions are checked with a vernier caliper and the appearance is checked visually. The results should comply with the provisions of Articles 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. 5.2.2 The coating thickness is checked according to the method specified in JB2836, and the results should comply with the provisions of Article 4.2.2a. 5.3 Mechanical properties test
5.3.1 Materials
5.3.1.1 Fire hazard test of insulating parts
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB5169.4. During the test, the top of the glow wire with a temperature of 650℃ shall be in contact with the end face of the sample for 30s. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.1a.

5.3.1.2 The comparative tracking index determination of insulating materials shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB4207. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.1b. 5.3.2 Mechanical strength test of terminal blocks
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.2.3 of JB3975. The tightening torque during the test shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 4. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.2. Thread diameter

5.3.3 Clamping performance test
Perform the test in accordance with Article 8.2.4 of JB3975. The tightening torque during the test shall be in accordance with Table 4. The result shall comply with Article 4.3.3. 5.3.4 Tension test
Perform the test in accordance with Article 8.2.5 of JB3975. The tightening torque during the test shall be two-thirds of that specified in Table 4. The result shall comply with Article 4.3.4.
5.3.5 Tension torsion test
Perform the test in accordance with Article 8.2.6 of JB3975. The test parameters are shown in Table 5. The result shall comply with Article 4.3.5. Table 5

5.3.6 Rated cross section verification
Verify according to 8.2.9 of JB3975. The verification result shall comply with 4.2.2b. Vibration test

5.3.8 Low temperature test
Test according to the provisions of GB2423.1 test Ad. The low temperature is -25C and maintained for 72h. After the test, immediately conduct a mechanical strength test of the conductor and the terminal under the low temperature condition by tightening and loosening 3 times (see 5.3.2). After the test, restore at least 1h under normal test atmospheric conditions until the appearance inspection is carried out after returning to normal temperature. The result shall comply with 4.2.1. 5.4 Electrical performance test
5.4.1 Dielectric strength test
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.3.1.1 of JB3975. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.8. 5.4.2 Alternating damp heat test
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB2423.4 test Db. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.9. 5.4.3 Voltage drop measurement
The measurement shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.3.3 of JB3975. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.10. 5.4.4 Temperature rise test
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.3.4 of JB3975. The tightening torque during the test shall be two-thirds of that specified in Table 4. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.11.
5.4.5 Short-time withstand current test
The test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.3.5 of JB3975. The tightening torque during the test is shown in Table 4. The result shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.12. 6
Inspection rules

In the above inspections, except for the appearance and size inspections, the unit product is the number of pieces, and the unit product of the other tests is the number of circuits. 6.1 Factory inspection
The product shall be inspected by the inspection department before leaving the factory, and can only leave the factory after passing the inspection. 6.1.1 According to the provisions of GB2828, a single or double sampling plan shall be adopted. The grouping, items and sequence of the inspection shall comply with the provisions of Table 6.

When the terminal block is judged as unqualified, screening is allowed, and then the unqualified items are re-checked according to the stricter sampling plan. If it is still unqualified, it is judged as unqualified for factory inspection. 6.2
Type test
The purpose of type test is to verify whether the design and performance of the terminal block meet the requirements of the standard. Type test shall be carried out in the following cases: a.
Just completed trial samples;
When the design performance or product quality is affected by changes in process, materials or structure; When the national quality supervision agency proposes the requirement of type test. Type test rules
Type test is considered qualified only when all samples pass the sequential tests. Only products that pass the type test can be identified. 6.2.2

6.3.1 Regular test rules
The samples used for regular test shall be randomly selected from the products produced in this cycle that have passed the factory inspection according to the provisions of GB2829 using a single sampling plan.
During the regular test, if one test group fails, it shall be judged as unqualified. 6.3.2 Regular test items

7.2 Packaging
7.2.1 The packaging of the product must be able to prevent damage during transportation and meet the requirements of rain or moisture resistance. The packaging box should generally contain a packing list, a certificate of conformity and an instruction manual.
7.2.2 The packaging mark should be clear and neat, and it should not become blurred due to long-term transportation or storage. The mark generally includes the following contents; 7

Environmental conditions for transportation and storage: the lower limit of low temperature is -40℃, the upper limit of high temperature is +55℃, the free fall height shall not exceed 250mm, and the rest shall comply with the 10th of GB1497.5. Additional Notes:
