This standard adopts the second part "Dimensions" of ISO4156-1981 "Cylindrical spur involute splines - Metric modules - Side fits - General, dimensions and inspection". 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies all spline dimensions required for cylindrical spur involute splines with a standard pressure angle of 37.5° round root (hereinafter referred to as 37.5° round root).
This standard is applicable to involute splines with a pressure angle of 37.5°, a module of 0.5 to 10 mm and side fits as specified in GB/T3478.1.
This dimension table is compiled according to the calculation formula in Table 3 of GB/T3478.1 and the side fit is H/h, and the basic inspection method is adopted. 2 Reference standards

3.1 Dimension table of splines with 7.5° round tooth root, module 0.5 to 10 mm, tolerance grades 4, 5, 6 and 7, see Tables 1 to 28. 3.2 Limit deviations of internal spline minor diameter D and tolerances of external spline major diameter D., see Table 25 of GB/T3478.1. 3.3 Tolerances of internal spline major diameter D. and external spline minor diameter D., select from the standard tolerances IT12, IT13 or IT14 of GB1800. 3.4 When the internal and external splines are machined by the generating method, the radius of the tooth root arc is variable. This standard gives the minimum curvature radius of the tooth root arc, see Table 26 of GB/T 3478.1.
3.5 When the selected inspection method is not the basic method, the maximum effective tooth space width, the minimum actual tooth space width, the minimum effective tooth thickness and the maximum actual tooth thickness are calculated as follows:
The maximum effective tooth space width Evmax=Emax-in; the minimum actual tooth space width Emin=Evmin+in; the minimum effective tooth thickness Svmin=Smin+in; the maximum actual tooth thickness SmxSvmax-in. 3.6 When the spline tooth side fit category is not H/h, the size of the external spline in the dimension table should be calculated as follows: The maximum effective tooth thickness Svuax=S+esv;

Upper deviation of major and minor diameters of external splines, see Table 24 of GB/T3478.1. 3.7 The value of the maximum value DFemx of the involute starting circle diameter of external splines in this dimension table is calculated according to the formula derived from the rack-shaped tool processing principle.
When the spline tooth side fit category is not H/h, DFemax can be calculated according to the formula in Table 3 of GB/T3478.1. , Table 13 7.5° internal spline
