Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Basic Environmental Tests for Petroleum Exploration and Development Instruments
SY/T 5203---91
Replaces SY 5203—87
This standard specifies the environmental condition grouping of petroleum exploration and development instruments (hereinafter referred to as instruments), specifies the environmental test items that should be carried out in the development, finalization and production stages of the instruments, and makes unified provisions for the common requirements of various tests. This standard applies to the environmental tests of instruments. 2 Reference Standards
GB6587.1 General Principles of Environmental Test for Electronic Measuring Instruments 3 Environmental Grouping
Petroleum exploration and development instruments can be divided into two categories according to environmental conditions. The first category is various measuring and recording instruments used on the ground, and the second category is instruments or probes used for in-well measurements. These two types of instruments can be divided into six groups due to different transportation and use conditions. 3.1 Class I environment is divided into three groups according to the working conditions of ground instruments: a. Group A has a good working environment, that is, an air-conditioned environment that can automatically adjust the ambient temperature, including the internal environment of a van-type instrument vehicle with air-conditioning equipment; b. Group B is a general laboratory and the internal environment of a van-type instrument vehicle; c. Group C is a natural environment in the field.
3.2 Class II environment is divided into three groups according to the depth of the well used by the downhole instruments: d. Group D is used for downhole instruments within 2000m; e. Group E
f. Group F is used for downhole instruments above 5000m. 3.3 Environmental test technical conditions grouping (see Table 1). 4 Environmental test items
4.1 Test item content:
a. High temperature test
b. Impact test
c. Salt spray test,
d. Low temperature test
e: Steady humidity test:
f, Free fall test,
9. Vibration (sinusoidal) test

4.2 The environmental test items that should be carried out at each stage of prototype development, product finalization and product acceptance are as follows (see Table 2). 5 Test procedures
The steps and requirements for each test are specified by the method standards of each sub-test. The method standards of each sub-test should include the following procedures and contents:
a, pretreatment (if necessary)
b, initial inspection:
c, conditional test (if necessary, the intermediate inspection during the test should be specified) 1d. Recovery
. Final (final) inspection.

7.1 If the environmental conditions specified by instrument standard are inconsistent with the environmental conditions of this standard, as long as the conditions specified by instrument standard are more stringent than those specified by this standard, the standards specified by the instrument shall be followed. 7.2 Special instruments, if there are special conditions, may not be restricted by the provisions of this standard, but shall be in accordance with relevant professional or national standards.
.3 Any other test methods not included in this standard can be carried out in accordance with the corresponding professional or national standards. If necessary, enterprises can compile the required enterprise standard test methods by themselves.
Additional remarks:
This standard is proposed and managed by the Petroleum Exploration Instrument Professional Standardization Committee. This standard was revised by the Anhui Oil Exploration Instrument Factory in August 1991. The drafter of this standard revision is Xu Huasheng.
This standard is still valid after the review in 199
, and the review result has been approved by the State Administration of Petroleum and Chemical Industry.
