Basic requirements for instruments to fly the National Flag
Basic requirements for instruments to fly the National Flag This standard specifies the technical requirements, markings, labels and packaging for instruments to fly the National Flag. GB/T18302-2001
This standard applies to national flag hoisting devices made of metal, metal-plastic composite materials, glass fiber reinforced plastics and natural materials such as bamboo and wood. Other flag hoisting devices can also be implemented by reference. 2 Referenced Standards
The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. The versions shown are valid when this standard is published. All standards are subject to revision, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. 88J9 General Atlas of Outdoor Engineering Building Structures. 3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions.
3.1 Instruments for flying flag The supporting equipment and facilities required for raising and hanging flags, including flagpoles, flag crowns, flag stands and other auxiliary devices. 3.2 Single-story building single floor building A building with only one floor on the ground.
3.3 Multi-story building multi floor building A building with more than two floors on the ground.
3.4 Square flag flag flying on a square A flag hoisted in front of a square or building. 3.5 Building exterior wall flag flag flying on a wall A flag hoisted at a certain part of the exterior wall of a building and at a certain angle to the wall of the building. 3.6 Building top flag flag flying on a building A flag hoisted on the top of a building.
3.7 Door flag flagflyingonadoorcase A flag erected at the main entrance of a building.
3.8 Marching flag flagflyinginaprocession A flag held in a procession.
3.9 Indoor flag flagflyingindoor A flag erected and hung on the floor of an office, conference room, or hall. 3.10 Table flag flagflyingonatable
A flag placed on a table, including a single-pole single flag and a single-pole double-wing flag (also known as a signing flag). 3.11 Interval between flagstaffs Approved by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on January 21, 2001, implemented on May 1, 2001
GB/T18302—2001
When more than two flagpoles are erected in front of a square or building, the distance between the flagpoles. 3.12 Height of the base of a flagstaff The vertical distance from the ground to the flagstaff on the outer wall of the building. 3.13 Angle between flagstaff and a wall The angle between the flagstaff on the outer wall of the building and the wall of the building. 3.14 Cap of the flagstaff
The decoration on the top of the flagpole, generally in a spherical shape. 4 Requirements
4.1 Materials for the hoisting device
4.1.1 Metal, metal-plastic composite material, glass fiber reinforced plastic, bamboo and wood natural materials can be used to make the hoisting device (except for the square flag stand).
4.1.2 The physical properties of the material of the square flagpole should take into account the design strength, safety factor, bending stress, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, etc. It should be able to ensure that the flagpole will not fall, bend or fold under the geographical location and environmental climatic conditions of the location where the flagpole is set. 4.2 Color of the flag hoisting device
4.2.1 The colors specified in this standard are named by common names. 4.2.2 In the flag hoisting device, the outdoor flag pole should be silvery white, white or wood color, and the indoor flag pole should be silvery white, golden yellow, wood color, and gray series.
4.2.3 The color of the square flag holder must be harmonious with the color of other parts of the flag hoisting device. 4.3 Appearance of the flag hoisting device
4.3.1 Flag poles of various materials must be surface treated to achieve a straight, smooth and unstained appearance. 4.3.2 The rope and pulley equipped with the square flag pole should be suitable for the flag hoisting pole in terms of strength and color. The technical requirements for the use of bearing pulleys refer to the 88J9 "General Atlas of Outdoor Engineering Building Structures". 4.3.3 Other materials whose physical properties and appearance requirements meet or exceed the requirements specified in 4.1.2, 4.2.2, 4.3.1.4.3.2 can also be used to make national flag hoisting devices.
4.4 Shape and size of flag hoisting device
4.4.1 The cross section of the flag pole of the flag hoisting device in this standard should be circular, and the flag crown is generally spherical. 4.4.2 Size of outdoor flag hoisting device
4.4.2.1 The height of the flag pole in the square should be 5m~7m in front of a single-story building, and 7m~15m in front of a multi-story building. 4.4.2.2 The height of the flag pole, flag pole diameter, flag crown diameter, flag pole spacing and flag size of the flag hoisted in the square are shown in Table 1. mm
