Inspection of grain and oilseedsMethods for determination of magnetic metals content of floursThis standard applies to the determination of magnetic metals content in commercial flours.Instruments and appliances
1.1Magnetic metal detector (electromagnet);1.2Magnet: suction force not less than 12kg, horseshoe-shaped;1.3Balance: sensitivity 0.0001g, 0.1g
1.4Crock or aluminum box, surface blood, brush, etc. 2 Operation method
2.1 Magnetic metal object measuring instrument methodbzxz.net
GB/T5509-85
Weigh 1kg of sample from the average sample, pour it into the container on the top of the measuring instrument, turn on the power, energize the electromagnet, start the motor, adjust the flow control plate, and let the sample flow into the sample box through the elimination plate. After the sample flows out, cut off the power, cut off the magnet, brush off the magnetic metal object and put it into the surface blood. Then carry out the sample three times according to the above method, combine the magnetic metal objects in each time into the known weight of the glass (W0), rinse with carbon tetrachloride several times until the powder particles are removed, and then dry, cool, and weigh (wi).
2.2 Magnet attraction method
Weigh 1kg of the sample from the average sample, pour it on a glass plate or a smooth flat table, spread it into a rectangle with a thickness of about 0.5cm, insert the two poles into the sample with a horseshoe magnet, the front end of the magnet can be slightly raised, and the rear end is in contact with the glass plate, first move slowly from top to bottom, and then move from left to right. When the magnet passes through all the samples, use a brush to gently brush off the non-magnetic objects attached to the magnet, and brush the metal objects into (WO) of known weight. After mixing the samples, perform the above method three times
, and weigh the magnetic metal objects sucked out together (W1). 8 Result calculation
The content of magnetic metal objects is calculated according to the following formula: Magnetic metal objects (mg/kg) = (W1-W0)X1000, where: wo—weight, g;
W1——weight of magnetic metal objects and crucible, g. The highest content is the determination result for the double test. Note: After using the magnet, the two plates must be covered with an iron sheet about 1 cm thick to maintain the magnetism. Additional Notes:
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by the Grain Storage and Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce. The main drafters of this standard are Gao Xiuwu, Yang Haoran, Hao Yanxia, and Chang Guifen. Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on November 2, 1985
