GB/T 2833—1996 This standard adopts the British national standard BS65:1991 Sintered ceramic pipes, accessories and joints "Appendix C Bending moment resistance (BMR) test" and is revised on the basis of the original standard GB2833-81. The technical requirements that are still applicable in the original GB2833-81 are retained. This standard replaces GB2833-81 from the date of entry into force. This standard is proposed by the State Building Materials Industry Bureau. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Industrial Ceramics Standardization Technical Committee. The drafting unit of this standard: Shandong Industrial Ceramics Research and Design Institute of the State Building Materials Industry Bureau. The main drafter of this standard: Jun Qian. This standard is entrusted to Shandong Industrial Ceramics Research and Design Institute of the State Building Materials Industry Bureau for interpretation. This standard was first issued in 1981. This standard applies to the bending strength test of vitrified pipe at room temperature. 2 Equipment and measuring tools 2.1 Testing machine The relative error of the indication shall not exceed ±1%. The maximum load of the specimen failure shall be within the range of 20% to 90% of the selected range, and a constant uniform loading rate can be guaranteed during the test. 2.2 Fixture The specimen support and pressure head shall have sufficient rigidity and shall not undergo plastic deformation during the test. The shape and size of the metal blade of the support and pressure head are shown in Figure 1. 2.3 Measuring tools —Upper loading blade, 2, 4—Rubber plate, 3 Ceramic tube; 5—Lower supporting blade? 6—Support seat Figure 1 Test device diagram Vernier caliper, graduation value is 0.02mm. 3 Test specimen The test specimen should be a complete pipe. The number of test specimens shall not be less than 3. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on May 15, 19966 Implemented on December 1, 1996 4 Test steps GB/T2833--1996 4.1 Place the sample on the two lower support blades. The distance L between the center lines of the two lower support blades (see Figure 1) is the nominal length of the ceramic pipe minus 200 mm. 4.2 Place a rubber sheet with a hardness of Shore A55 ± 5 and a thickness of 10~~15mm between the upper and lower blades and the sample. 4.3 Apply the load at a uniform speed of 0.4kN/s~0.6kN/s until it fails, and read the maximum load value when the sample fails. 4.4 Use a vernier caliper to measure the inner diameter and wall thickness of the pipe at the fracture of the pipe. The measurement should be carried out in two directions at 90° to each other along the fracture surface, and the average value should be taken. 5 Calculation of results The bending strength is calculated according to formula (1), and the result is retained to three significant figures. Wherein: α—bending strength of the specimen, MPa; P—load when the specimen breaks, N; L distance between the supporting blades, mm; d—inner diameter of the specimen at the fracture. mm, S——wall thickness of the specimen at the fracture, mm. 6 Test report The test report should include: Name, specification and model of the specimen: Sample supply unit: -Specimen number; -Testing machine model; -Failure load; Single value of bending strength; Test date and test personnel.
