This standard specifies the hot oven test method for verifying the quality of PVC-U, PVC-C, ABS and ASA injection molded pipe fittings. This standard is applicable to pressure-bearing pipe fittings and non-pressure-bearing pipe fittings for drainage, as well as pipe fittings with elastic sealing ring sockets, flanges and injection molded parts. GB/T 8803-2001 Hot oven test method for injection molded rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer (ABS) and acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate terpolymer (ASA) pipe fittings GB/T8803-2001 Standard download decompression password: www.bzxz.net

GB/T8803—2001 This standard is closely combined with the dynamics of the IS standardization organization, and refers to the new international technical content. It revises GB/T8803-1988 "Hot Oven Test Method for Injection Molded Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U) Pipe Fittings". The main revisions include: 1. The time for constant temperature of pipe fittings according to wall thickness has been slightly changed. 2. The result judgment after the hot oven test of pipe fittings has been partially modified to make it more specific and clear. 3. In addition to the original PVC-U, the types of injection molded pipe fittings have been newly added with PVC-C, ABS and ASA. From the date of implementation, this standard will replace GB/T8803-1988. Appendix A of this standard is the appendix of the standard. This standard is proposed by China Light Industry Federation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products. The drafting unit of this standard: Chuanlu Plastic Group. This standard applies to pressure-bearing pipe fittings and non-pressure-bearing pipe fittings for drainage, as well as pipe fittings with elastic sealing ring sockets, flanges and injection molded parts. Note: If required, the liquid bath method can also be used, see Appendix A (Appendix to the standard). 2 Principle In order to reveal the internal stress generated by the pipe fittings during the injection molding process, whether there is cold material or unmelted part, and the welding quality of the weld seam, the sample is placed in an air circulation oven at 150°C and heated for different times according to the wall thickness of the sample. After being taken out and cooled, the defects of the sample are checked, and all cracks, bubbles, delamination or weld cracks are measured, and expressed as a percentage of the wall thickness of the sample. 3 Instruments and Equipment 3.1 The temperature-controlled air circulation oven with a temperature controller can keep the working temperature at (150±2)°C during the test, and has sufficient heating power. When the sample is placed in the oven lip, the temperature can reach the set test temperature again within 15 minutes. 3.2 The accuracy of the thermometer is 0.5°C. 4 Test specimens and their preparation 4.1 The test specimen is a complete injection molded pipe. If the pipe is equipped with an elastic sealing ring, it should be removed before testing; if the pipe is composed of more than one injection molded component, these components should be tested separately. 4.2 The number of test specimens should be in accordance with the provisions of the product standard. At least three test specimens should be taken from the same batch of the same type of product. 5 Test steps 5.1 Raise the oven to (150±2)℃. 5.2 Before the test, the wall thickness of the test specimen should be measured first. Select a cross section on the main body of the pipe, and measure the wall thickness at at least six points evenly spaced on the circumferential surface. The arithmetic mean is calculated as the average wall thickness e. Accurate to 0.1mm. 5.3 Place the sample in the oven with one of the sockets pointing downward. The sample must not touch other samples or the oven wall. Samples that are difficult to place steadily or that are easy to fall over after being softened by heat can be supported by a bracket. 5.4 Start timing when the oven temperature returns to the set temperature. Determine the constant temperature time of the sample in the oven based on the average wall thickness of the sample (see Table 1). bzxz.net Average wall thickness. 3. 0 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
