4.1 Transport packaging design should be carried out in accordance with the project task book or contract. 4.2 It should be ensured that the various technical indicators of the contents from the manufacturer to the user meet the requirements and meet the requirements of the product unpacking failure rate. 4.3 The packaging containers and materials should be correctly selected, and the contents should be protected to be safe and hygienic, and not harmful to the environment. 4.4
Resources should be saved, packaging costs should be reduced, and economic benefits should be improved. 4.5 When necessary, product packaging should be graded according to relevant requirements. 5 Design procedure
5.1 Determine the design conditions
Determine the design conditions according to the project task book or contract. 5.1.1 Product conditions
Determine the product category, physical state, mass of contents, protection requirements, and packaging cost. Category: such as food, medicine, textiles, daily chemicals, household appliances, electromechanical products, etc. a)
b) Physical state: such as gas, liquid, solid, etc. Mass of contents: the actual weight of the contents, expressed in kilograms (kg). The mass of oversized products can be calculated, and there should be a margin. c)
Protection requirements: such as whether the product is volatile, deliquescent, rusty, corrosive, oxidized, mildewed, moth-eaten, fragile, flammable, explosive, etc. d)
Packaging cost: design cost, production cost, transportation cost, service cost. 2 Transportation and circulation conditions
Determine the requirements for transportation and loading and unloading based on the characteristics of the transportation packaging and the circulation environment conditions that may be encountered. Specify the mode of transport, such as railway, road, water, air, etc.: a)
Specify the transport conditions, such as awning, sealing, insulation, ventilation, stacking height, etc., specify the duration of transport and the temperature and relative humidity in the transport vehicle, etc.; c)
Specify the loading and unloading requirements according to the characteristics, quality, size, volume, and shape of the package. d)
Packaging storage conditions
Determine the storage requirements of the transport package according to the characteristics of the package. Storage place: Specify the requirements for storage places such as warehouses, awnings, and open air; a)
Storage conditions: Specify the most suitable range of temperature and relative humidity, ventilation methods and the amount of air that should be replaced per unit time, and protection requirements for harmful substances;
Storage method: Specify single placement, stacking, and the form, number of layers, height, etc. of stacking, d)
Storage period: Specify the validity period of the package and the requirements for maintenance during the storage period, and the requirements for regular or irregular sampling. 2
5.1.4 Packaging environmental conditions
According to the characteristics of the product, the environmental conditions of the packaging site should be determined: temperature, relative humidity;
sanitary conditions, such as cleanliness, the content of harmful gases and harmful bacteria; the content of radioactive substances;
personal safety protection measures;
packaging technology, mechanical equipment, technical methods, production management, and operating level. e)
5.2 Determine the design plan
5.2.1Determine the design parameters
The measurement value of the contents, such as mass, volume, quantity, shape and size, etc.; reserve volume or allowable deviation;
Other parameters to be determined according to the characteristics of the contents; c)
Number of repetitions of packaging;
Validity period of packaging.
Determine the packaging container
GB/T 19451—2004
When standard container types are available, standard container types should be selected. When no standard container types are available, the container type should be determined first, and then the container design should be carried out. And meet the requirements of product packaging in terms of source, specification, performance, price, etc. The specifications and dimensions of packaging containers for container unit transportation should comply with the provisions of the relevant packaging dimension series standards.
