3.1 Grinding discs are divided into garnet grinding discs and pumice grinding discs according to the grinding process requirements. 3.2 The garnet grinding disc is composed of a rubber base with a reinforced cloth as the skeleton and a metal grinding block. Its structural diagram is shown in Figure 1. The height of the metal grinding block is 26.1mm±0.1mm; the pumice grinding disc is composed of a rubber with a reinforced cloth as the skeleton. Its structural diagram is shown in Figure 2. Special specifications or structures are determined according to the requirements of the ordering party. X area

3.3 The specifications and dimensions of the grinding disc shall be determined according to the requirements of the ordering party. 4
Product marking
4.1 Marking method
Product name, screen specifications, standard code. Marking example
The marking of the garnet grinding disc with a screen size of 457mm is: Garnet grinding disc 457HG/T××××5 Technical requirements
5.1 The physical and mechanical properties of the grinding disc rubber shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. If there are special requirements, they shall be determined according to the requirements of the ordering party. Table 1
Hardness (Shore A)/degree
Tensile strength/MPa
Elongation at break/%
Tear strength/(kN/m)

Pumice grinding disc
5.2 The hardness of the grinding block of the garnet grinding disc shall be HS32 ± 4, but the hardness difference within the same product shall be less than 4, and the surface shall be treated with anti-rust processing.
5.3 The grinding disc rubber and grinding block shall not have defects such as damage, deformation, etc. that are not suitable for grinding operations. 6 Test method
The size of the grinding disc is measured with a suitable measuring tool. The measuring points are shown in Figure 3. The height of the grinding block is measured at four points: A, B, C, and D. 6.1

6.2 The hardness test of the grinding disc rubber shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T531. During the measurement, the garnet grinding disc shall take the points F and G in Figure 3; the pumice grinding disc shall take the points A, B, C, and D in Figure 4. 6.3 The hardness test of the grinding block shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB4341, and the measurement shall be taken at point E in Figure 3. 6.4 The tensile test of the grinding disc rubber shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T528. 6.5 The tear strength test of the grinding disc rubber shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T529, and the test shall be carried out using a right-angled specimen. 6.6 The appearance of the grinding disc shall be inspected visually.
Inspection rules
7.1 Inspection classification
7.1.1 Factory inspection: The grinding disc should be fully inspected for hardness, appearance, and grinding block height of garnet grinding disc. 7.1.2 Type inspection: The technical requirements listed in this standard are all type inspection items. Under normal circumstances, the physical and mechanical properties of the grinding disc rubber material are tested once a month.
7.2 Judgment rules
If the hardness, appearance or grinding block height does not meet the requirements of this standard, it will be judged as a defective product. Physical and mechanical properties Randomly select sufficient samples for testing every month. If one indicator does not meet the requirements, double samples should be taken for retesting. If it still does not meet the requirements, the product of that month is a defective product. 8 Marking, packaging, transportation, purchase and storage
8.1 The grinding disc should be packaged in a way that avoids damage to its performance. 8.2 Each package should be accompanied by a product certificate and indicate the product mark, trademark, manufacturer name, production date, inspector code, etc. 8.3 When transporting and storing, grinding discs should be supported by brackets to avoid overlapping, direct sunlight, rain and snow, and should not come into contact with organic solvents such as gasoline and kerosene, as well as corrosive media. 8.4 The ambient temperature of grinding discs during transportation and storage should not be higher than 40°C, and they should be kept dry and ventilated. 8.5 Under the conditions specified in 8.3 and 8.4 of this standard, the effective shelf life of grinding discs is one year from the date of production.
