National Standard of the People's Republic of China Method of climbing ability test for motorcycles and mopeds Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the test conditions and test methods for the climbing ability of motorcycles and mopeds. This standard applies to the climbing ability test of motorcycles and mopeds (except off-road vehicles and racing cars). 2 Reference standards GB/T5378 General principles for road tests of motorcycles and mopeds 3 Test conditions 3.1 Except for the test road, the other test conditions shall comply with the provisions of GB/T5378. GB/T 5387—94 Replacement: GB4568—84 GB 5387—85 3.2 Test road: The test ramp is a straight, dry, clean, concrete-paved artificial ramp. It is allowed to be replaced by a natural ramp with a flat surface and hard soil. |The angle of the test ramp should be uniform and consistent, and the angle of the ramp should be close to the maximum climbing angle of the test vehicle. The length of the ramp should not be less than 30m, and there should be a straight section of not less than 10m before the ramp. 4 Test method 4.1 Determine the angle of the test ramp. 4.2 Mark out a 5m auxiliary driving area from the bottom of the slope (5~10m for a natural slope, but the angle of the last 5m is the same as that of the test section ramp), and then mark out a 20m test section. The test points are set at the starting point, 10m and -20m, and an electronic timing device is installed at each test point (see the figure below). Test point Test starting point Note: When testing at the manufacturer, a stopwatch is allowed. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on December 27, 1994 and implemented on July 1, 1995 GB/T 5387 4.3 The test vehicle (the lowest gear is used for the test vehicle with gears) selects a suitable initial speed to climb the slope, and measures the time t from the test starting point to pass the 10m interval and the time t2 for the 20m interval. Gear shifting is not allowed when climbing the slope, and the clutch should be fully engaged. 4.4 When determining the test results, the requirements of formula (1) must be met: ti≥tzt 4.5 When there is no appropriate ramp, the test can be continued on the original ramp according to the time measured when climbing the slope in accordance with the following provisions: a. When tWhen t2=t, continue the test by increasing the mass or changing to a higher gear. b. 4.6 In the case of changing the mass or gear, calculate the climbing angle according to formula (2): α= arcsin|w Where: α- climbing angle, (°); actual total mass of the test vehicle, kg, specified total mass of the test vehicle, kg lowest gear ratio of the test vehicle; speed ratio of the gear used during the test; β-angle of the test ramp, (°). Note: The test vehicle with continuously variable transmission and automatic transmission can refer to formula (2). 4.7The test data and results are recorded in the table in Appendix A (Supplement). 160 ·(1) Vehicle modelbZxz.net Frame number Engine number Vehicle curb mass Driver mass Front wheel air pressure Rear wheel air pressure Side wheel air pressure Lowest gear speed ratio Specified total mass Maximum climbing angle Additional notes: GB/T 5387—94 Appendix A Motorcycle and moped climbing ability test record sheet (supplement) Test date Test location Actual total mass Speed ratio This standard is proposed by China Aviation Industry Corporation.
