Geographical indication products include: a) Planting and breeding products from the local area. b) Products whose raw materials are all from the local area or partly from other areas and are produced and processed in the local area according to specific processes. 4 Basic principles for formulating standards for geographical indication products 4.1 It should be a geographical indication product approved by the national quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administrative department in accordance with the "Regulations on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products". 4.2 The quality, characteristics and reputation of the product should reflect the natural attributes and human factors of the place of origin, and have stable quality, a long history, unique flavor and a great reputation. 4.3 In addition to complying with the provisions of GB/T1.2, the standards for geographical indication products should also specify the scope of protection of geographical indication products, natural environment, specific varieties, specific planting (breeding) techniques, special processing technology, product technical indicators and other contents related to the unique quality of geographical indication products. 5 General requirements 5. 1 Standard name The name of the geographical indication product standard should consist of the name of the place of origin and the common product name reflecting the true attributes, and be prefixed with the geographical indication product. 5.2 Scope of protection of geographical indication products It should comply with the protection area approved by the national quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administrative department, and be accompanied by the corresponding regional map. 1 hWww.bzxZ.net GB/T 17924--2008 5.3 Natural environment The natural environment of the protected area suitable for producing products with specific qualities should be specified, such as the unique geographical environment, climate, soil, water quality, etc. 5.4 Raw materials 5.4.1 The animal and plant varieties suitable for the geographical indication products should be specified. 5.4.2 The source of special raw materials related to the unique quality of the products should be specified. If necessary, the origin, sensory characteristics, physical and chemical indicators and safety and health indicators of the raw materials should be specified. 5.5 Planting (breeding) technology The planting (breeding) technology requirements related to the unique quality of the products should be specified, such as seed selection, cultivation, field management, fertilization and pesticide application, picking, raw material processing and storage, etc. 5.6 Process 5.6.1 The unique processing technology of the product should be specified.
