Commonly used abbreviations for pipelines HG 20519.27-92 Commonly used abbreviations for pipelines HG 20519.27-92 This regulation is used in design drawings and tables. It aims to unify the use of abbreviations and solve the problem of insufficient space on the drawings and simplification of the representation method. For the text part of the technical document, if it is difficult to understand the meaning of the abbreviation, the abbreviation should be avoided. If it must be used, it should be annotated (except those marked with an asterisk). This regulation only includes commonly used abbreviations in the pipeline profession, and does not include abbreviations for fluids and commonly used unit symbols.
