This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements and inspection rules of the pull-type hand-held red hand flare. GB3107.1 General technical conditions for marine pyrotechnic signals 3 Product classification
3.1 Type and size
3.1.1 Marine red hand flare is a hand-held pull-type ignition type pyrotechnic signal. Its main components include: a. Shell;
Handle;
Ignition device;
Protective cover;
Safety cover;
Red light signal body.
3.1.2 The signal body shall consist of ignition charge and signal charge. 3.1.3 The outer diameter of the marine red light flame signal shall not exceed 40mm, the total length shall not exceed 300mm, and the total mass shall not exceed 240g. 3.2 Marking example

4 Technical requirements
4.1 The manufacture of marine red light flame signals shall comply with the technical requirements of Chapter 4 of GB3107.1. 4.2 The technical performance of the red flame signal shall meet the following requirements: a. The handheld continuous red flame shall last for no less than 60 seconds; a.
The red light intensity shall be no less than 15000cd;
The duration from the trigger to the ignition signal shall be no less than 2 seconds; c.
The red light color shall be in accordance with the diagram specified by the International Commission on Illumination, and the chromaticity area shall be within the range of the angle coordinates listed in Table 1: Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on May 22, 1991 534

4.3 This product shall be able to function effectively after repeating 10 cycles at an ambient temperature of -30 to +65°C. 4.4
This product shall be able to withstand low temperatures of -30°C and high temperatures of +65°C, and function effectively at these ambient temperatures. 4.5
This product should be able to work effectively in any sea conditions with a high temperature of +65C and a relative humidity of 90%. 4.6 This product should not be affected in its performance after being immersed in water for 10cm for 5min in the ready-to-launch state. This product should work effectively when it is immersed in water for 1m horizontally for about 24h. 4.7
4.8 This product can withstand the salt spray test of 20% NaC1 solution. 0.721bzxZ.net
4.9 This product is still in a safe state and works effectively after falling freely from a height of 2m according to the prescribed test method. After ignition and during combustion, it will not harm the operator and any nearby personnel. 4.10 From ignition to combustion, this product shall not have any flames (or substances with flame signals) or combustion residues. 4.11 Use! m2 test basin or water tank, add 21 heptane to the water surface, and then trigger a red flame signal at a height of 1.2m above it. The dripping objects during the combustion process shall not ignite the heptane. The test environment temperature is +20~25℃. 5 Test method
The test method of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB3107.1. 6 Inspection rules
6.1 The inspection rules of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 6 of GB3107.1. 6.2 When this product is first produced without obtaining the approval certificate, each batch of 240 pieces; after obtaining the product approval certificate, each batch of 480 pieces. 6.3 The items, technical requirements and sampling quantity of the product factory inspection shall be in accordance with the requirements of Table 2. 6.3.1 During the factory inspection of this product, if ~ pieces are unreliable or the burning time is less than 54s, or the burning time of two pieces is less than 60s, they must be doubled for retesting; this phenomenon shall not occur again after the retest, otherwise the whole batch shall be scrapped. 6.3.2 During the factory inspection of the product, if one of the appearance and assembly quality of the product is unqualified, it shall be doubled for retesting. If one of them is still unqualified after the retest, all shall be returned for repair and retested.
6.4 The light intensity test of this product shall be conducted once every 5 batches of production and shall comply with the requirements of 4.2b. of this standard. Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
