This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1.1—2009. GB/T25894—2010
This standard was revised using the redrafting method and adopted ISO23601:2009 "Safety identification escape and evacuation plan signs". Compared with ISO23601:2009, this standard has made the following structural adjustments: Deleted terms 3.2 and 3.3, and re-adjusted the term numbers: Changed the list form of Chapter 5 to the form of clauses, where 5.1 corresponds to the first paragraph of the original text, 5.2 corresponds to item a), and so on; Changed Chapter 6 from the list form to the form of clauses, where 6.1 corresponds to item a of the original text, and so on. The technical differences and reasons between this standard and ISO23601:2009 are as follows: Regarding normative references, this standard has made technically different adjustments to facilitate the application of the standard in my country. The adjustments are concentrated in Chapter 2 "Normative References", and the specific adjustments are as follows: GB/T2893.12004, GB/T2893.3 and GB/T26443, which are international standards, are used to replace ISO3864-1:2002, ISO3864-3 and ISO17398 respectively;. GB/T15565 (all parts) which corresponds to the international standard in technical content but has no adoption relationship replaces ISO17724.
In Chapter 6, the use of Chinese is added (see 6.1 and 6.2) to adapt to the needs of my country; the use of text in the name of the figure in 7.1 is revised to adapt to the needs of my country. Compared with ISO23601:2009, this standard has made the following editorial changes: Table 1 is revised, and the example of the height of the capital letter in the name of the figure in Table 1 is changed to the example of the height of the Chinese character in the name of the figure. The system used to convey evacuation route information in public facilities needs to be standardized so that the evacuation route information can be understood with as few words as possible. At the same time, with the continuous growth of trade, tourism and personnel movement in my country, there is an urgent need for a common way to convey safety information.
This standard can reduce the risks of using public facilities and can reduce the confusion that may arise in emergency situations. This standard establishes a common method through safety signs, colors and specific design requirements, namely: graphically representing the relative position of the observer to the intended evacuation route to the emergency exit, and the relative position of fire safety equipment or emergency equipment close to or adjacent to the evacuation route. The evacuation plan is an indispensable and important part of the facility's emergency guidance system (see GB/T23809). 1 Scope

Before applying this document, the fire safety management procedure has identified some necessary elements that should be shown on the evacuation plan. The evacuation plan should reflect a study of the following information: a) Fire safety manuals and regulations: Current site and facility plans, including key features of the facility that have been verified in the field; b) Identification of all evacuation routes: Evacuation planning documents, which include the expected movement of people, all instructions given and how they are given; d) The location of all fire equipment and alarm devices: The location of emergency equipment and evacuation support equipment; f) The equipment required to be taken in an emergency or during a change of location; g) The location of shelters and assembly points. The purpose of the evacuation plan is to help people determine their location based on the planned evacuation route. The evacuation plan is a supplement and improvement to the facility's emergency guidance system (see GB/T2380). 5 Design requirements 5.1 The evacuation plan should be prepared in accordance with the facility's evacuation plan and should meet the special needs of the occupants of the site. Design
5.2 The observer's position should be marked on the evacuation plan. 5.3 The evacuation plan should be in color.
5.4 The scale of the evacuation plan should be determined by the size of the facility and the level of detail of the evacuation plan and the intended location of the evacuation plan. The scale used should not be less than the following: a) 1:250 for large facilities; b) 1:100 for small and medium-sized facilities; c) 15 for plans showing the interior of a single room. Detailed elements such as stairs or corridors may be drawn at a larger scale to increase visibility or to accommodate safety signs. A series of evacuation plans for the same facility should use the same scale. For certain specific areas of the facility, such as parking lots, different scales may be used to identify the extent of the empty space. 5.5 All illustrations of the same area in a set of evacuation plans should be consistent. 5.6 For adequate clarity and visibility, the vertical illuminance on the evacuation plan should not be less than 501x under normal lighting conditions. The vertical illuminance on the evacuation plan made of ordinary or phosphorescent materials should not be less than 51x under conditions that can provide emergency lighting in the event of a failure of normal lighting.
