This standard is based on the equivalent adoption of the American Tire and Rim Association (1RA) Yearbook-1994, and has revised the previous version of GB297789. The specifications of the tires refer to the European Tire and Rim Organization (ETRTO) Yearbook-1993 and the Japanese Motor Vehicle Tire Manufacturers Association (ATMA) Yearbook-1994, etc., and the above-mentioned foreign advanced standards are used and referred to in an effort to make my country's tire standards conform to foreign advanced standards as soon as possible and meet the needs of international economic and trade and scientific and technological cooperation. This standard has been modified in the following chapters:
Various metric series tires have been supplemented, and the tables of various metric series tires have been supplemented in 3.4, 3.5, 3.6.3.7: Table 7, Table 8, Table 9, Table 10, Table 11, Table 20, Table 27, Table 22, Table 27, Table 28 and other metric series tire test positive and negative comparison tables have been added, and the corresponding relationship between tire glass temperature and load has been revised. This standard will take effect from the date of entry into force, and at the same time replaces GB2977-89.
