National Standard of the People's Republic of China Health standard for deltamethrin in the air of workplace Health standard for deltamethrin in the air of workplace1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the maximum allowable concentration of deltamethrin in the air of workplace and its monitoring and inspection methods. This standard is applicable to all types of enterprises that produce, repack and use deltamethrin. 2 Hygiene requirements The maximum allowable concentration of deltamethrin in the air of workplace is 0.03mg/m3. 3 Monitoring and inspection methods The monitoring and inspection methods of this standard adopt gas chromatography, see Appendix A. 4 Supervision and implementation Health and epidemic prevention agencies at all levels are responsible for supervising the implementation of this standard. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on April 3, 1996 388 GB 16186-1996 Implementation on September 1, 1996 A1 Principle GB16186-1996 Appendix A Gas Chromatography (Supplement) Deltamethrin in air is adsorbed by polyurethane foam and extracted with n-hexane. The extract is separated by 0V-101 column and detected by electron capture detector. Retention time is qualitative and peak height is quantitative. The detection limit of this method is 0.002μg/ml. Liquid sample. A2 Instruments A2.1 Sampler: Aluminum cylinder, inner diameter 24mm, length 79mm; a glass tube with inner diameter 20mm, length 80mm is installed inside, and the glass tube can hold four pieces of foam plastic (see the figure below). 1 Sampling head; 2--Sampling tube (with foam plastic inside); 3--Base Sampler A2.2 Polyurethane foam plastic: Cut into Φ24mm×18mm cylindrical small pieces, extract with n-hexane for 8h, and use after drying. A2.3 Soxhlet extractor, 50ml. A2.4 Micro syringe, 10μl. A2.5 Gas chromatograph, 63Ni electron capture detector. A3 Reagents A3.1 Deltamethrin, content above 98%. A3.2 n-hexane, analytical grade. A3.30V-101, chromatographic stationary liquid. Www.bzxZ.net A3.4ChromosorbWAWDMCS carrier, 60-80 mesh. A4Sampling Put four pieces of foam plastic into the glass sampling tube, connect the flow meter and the vacuum pump, and extract 50L of air at a speed of 2-10L/min. A5Analysis steps A5.1Chromatographic conditions a. Chromatographic column: 1m long, 2mm inner diameter, glass column. oV-101: ChromosorbWAWDMCS carrier = 3:10o. Column temperature: 240C. b. Vaporization chamber temperature: 250C. Detection chamber temperature: 310℃. Carrier gas (high purity nitrogen): 30ml./min. A5.2 Drawing of standard curve GB16186-1996 Use n-hexane to prepare three concentrations of 0.025, 0.050 and 0.100μg/mL of deltamethrin standard solution, take 2μL of each solution for injection, measure retention time and peak height, repeat 3 times for each concentration, take the average of peak height, plot the concentration of deltamethrin against peak height, draw a standard curve, and use retention time as a qualitative indicator. A5.3 Sample analysis After sampling, put the first two pieces and the last two pieces of foam plastic into a 50mL Soxhlet extractor, extract with n-hexane for 4h, and make the volume 50ml. Then take 2ul of sample for injection, use retention time for qualitative analysis and peak height for quantitative analysis. A6 Calculation X=V. Concentration of cypermethrin in the air, mg/m; Where: X C—Cypermethrin concentration found by standard curve, μg/mL; V. —Sampling volume under standard conditions, L. A7 Precautions A7.1 Samples should be analyzed in time (within one week). If the temperature is high, they should be kept in a cool place. A7.2 Pretreatment of foam plastics requires extraction for 8 hours before use. Additional notes: This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China.
