1.0.1: In order to standardize the purchase, inspection, acceptance and installation of valves in the oil and gas industry, and to ensure the quality of valve installation and use, this specification is specially formulated. 1.0.2 This specification applies to the purchase, arrival inspection, pressure test and installation of gate valves, stop valves, plug valves, ball valves, check valves and butterfly valves commonly used in oil and gas field surface construction projects, long-distance pipeline projects and oil and chemical construction projects. Other types of valves can also be implemented as a reference after consultation and agreement with the design or supplier. 1.0.3 When the design documents or valve technical conditions have special requirements for inspection and pressure testing, they should be implemented according to special requirements.
1.0.4 During the test and installation of valves, the national and industry laws and regulations on safety, labor protection, etc. should be strictly implemented to ensure safe production. 2.0.1
2 Valve procurement
The model and specification of the purchased valve must meet the design requirements. 2.0.2
The valve manufacturer must have a sound measurement system and reliable quality assurance capabilities.
2.0.3 For valves with special design requirements, they must be indicated in the order contract and inspected and accepted according to the design requirements. If necessary, they can be inspected and accepted at the valve manufacturer.
2.0.4 Before the valve is put into storage, the relevant personnel must check the model, specification and technical documents of the purchased valve according to the design requirements and contract provisions. The mark on the valve body should comply with the provisions of GB12220-90 "General Valve Marking" and check the appearance. Only after passing the inspection can it be put into storage. The valve arrival inspection and acceptance record must be filled in during the storage inspection (the format is shown in Appendix A of this standard). 3 Valve Inspection
3.1 General Requirements
The materials of the valve body, packing, gasket, etc. must comply with the relevant national product standards.
The valve must have a product certificate and a nameplate of the manufacturer. 3.1.2
The contents of the certificate shall comply with the following provisions: (1) Manufacturer name and date of manufacture:
(2) Product name and model;
(3) Nominal pressure, nominal diameter, applicable medium and temperature: (4) Based on the standard, inspection conclusion and inspection date; (5) Factory number;www.bzxz.net
(6) Signature and seal of the inspection personnel and the responsible inspection personnel. :The nameplate should indicate the nominal pressure, nominal diameter, operating temperature and working environment. For high-pressure valves, alloy valves and special valves, there should also be a product manual, which includes:
(1)Manufacturer name:
(2)Application and main performance specifications;
(3)Working principle and structural description
(4)Structural diagram with main external dimensions and connection dimensions【5】Material of main parts;
Maintenance, care, installation and use precautions (6)
(7)Possible faults and solutions: 8) List of accessories ,
For valves used for extremely toxic and highly hazardous media and flammable and combustible media, the following test qualification certificates shall also be available: (Valves that require low-temperature sealing tests in the design shall have low-temperature sealing test qualification certificates issued by the manufacturer:
(2) For steel valves used for extremely toxic and highly hazardous media and flammable and combustible media, the manufacturer's non-destructive inspection qualification certificate shall be available. Note: The classification of extremely toxic and highly hazardous media and flammable media shall be in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulations on Safety Technical Supervision of Pressure Vessels" in the Labor Law No. 199018. 3.1.4. For welding valves with extremely and highly hazardous media and flammable and combustible media, 5% of each batch and no less than one valve body hardness test shall be conducted. If there are unqualified ones, another 20% shall be sampled; if there are still unqualified ones: · Check them one by one. 3.1.5 For alloy steel valves, the shells shall be spectrally analyzed one by one, the material shall be checked, and the valve body shall be marked and a spectral analysis report shall be issued. 3.1.6. For valves with special requirements for high temperature, high pressure, oil resistance, corrosion resistance, and low temperature resistance: 1% of each batch (same manufacturer, same specification, same model, and delivered at the same time) and no less than one shall be sampled, and the shell material shall be spectrally analyzed. If there are unqualified ones, please check them one by one or they shall not be used.
3.2 Check the appearance and size of the valve
32.1 Before installation, the valves should be inspected for appearance and operation one by one, and their quality should meet the following requirements:
3.2.1.1 There should be no cracks, sand holes, mechanical damage, rust and other defects on the surface, as well as missing parts, dirt, nameplate shedding and color code discrepancy. The relevant markings on the valve should be correct, complete and clear, and meet the requirements of relevant standards. 3.2.1.2 There should be no defects such as water accumulation, rust, dirt and damage in the valve body: the flange sealing surface should not have radial grooves and other damage that affects the sealing performance. Both ends of the valve should be protected by protective covers.
3.2.1.3 The opening and closing parts of ball valves and plug valves should be in the open position, and the closing parts of other valves should be in the closed position: the opening and closing parts of check valves should be in the closed position and temporarily fixed.
3.2.1.4 The handle or handwheel of the valve should be flexible and easy to operate without sticking. The stop valve or valve core should move flexibly and correctly without eccentricity, displacement and tilting. 3.2.1.5 The opening and closing marks of the plug valve should be consistent with the position of the hole. The plug should have sufficient grinding allowance after assembly.
3.2.1.6 The threads of major components such as valve stems, valve stem nuts and connecting nuts should be smooth and free of defects such as burrs, scars and cracks. The exposed threaded parts should be protected.
3.2.2 Valves shall be inspected by sampling 10% of the batch and no less than 1 piece for dimensional inspection. If there are any unqualified ones, another 20% shall be inspected; if there are still unqualified ones, they shall be inspected one by one and the quality shall comply with the following provisions.
The structural length, diameter, flange, thread, etc. of the valve shall comply with the specifications.
3.2.2.2 The connecting flange sealing surfaces of straight-through cast steel valves shall be parallel to each other, and the parallelism deviation shall not exceed 0.15mm for every 100mm of flange sealing surface diameter. The connecting flange sealing surfaces of right-angle valves shall be perpendicular to each other, and the verticality deviation shall not exceed 0.3mm for every 100mm of flange sealing surface diameter. 3.2.2.3 The sealing surfaces of the straight-through cast iron valve connecting flanges are parallel to each other. The parallelism deviation shall not exceed 0.2mm for every 100mm of flange sealing surface diameter: the verticality deviation of the sealing surface of the right-angle cast iron valve connecting flange shall not exceed 0.4mm.
3.2.2.4 The center of the gate sealing surface of the gate valve must be higher than the center of the valve body sealing surface: when the gate sealing surface is worn, the closed position drops, but the valve body and gate sealing surface should still be fully matched.
