Some standard content:

National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Hydraulic Cylinders
Mounting dimensions and mounting type codes
Fluid power systems and components-CylindersIdentification code for mounting dimensions and mounting typesUDC 621. 226
GB 9094--88
This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO6099-1985 Hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components-Cylinders-Marking code for mounting dimensions and mounting types".
Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the marking method and code for the mounting dimensions and mounting types of hydraulic cylinders and cylinders. This standard includes two parts: letter codes for mounting dimensions, overall dimensions and assembly dimensions, from
b. Marking code for mounting type.
2 Theoretical Reference Point (TRP)
The theoretical reference point (hereinafter referred to as the reference point) is the theoretical point where force is transmitted from the piston rod to the moving part. The axial dimensions of all cylinders, regardless of the installation type, are measured from this reference point. 2.1 Piston rod with flat rod end
The reference point is determined at the intersection of the piston rod end face and the piston rod axis. 2.2 Piston rod with pin hole
The reference point is determined at the intersection of the pin hole axis and the piston rod axis. 2.3 Piston rod with internal thread at the end
The reference point is determined at the intersection of the piston rod end face and the piston rod axis. Approved by the State Machinery Industry Commission on April 6, 1988 and implemented on January 1, 1989
2.4 Piston rod with external thread at the end
GB9094-88
The reference point is determined at the intersection of the shoulder plane and the piston rod axis. 3 Codes for installation dimensions, external dimensions and accessory dimensions The codes for installation dimensions, external dimensions and accessory dimensions of a cylinder consist of one or two uppercase Latin letters. When the stroke needs to be marked, the symbols +, +++ or +/ may be added.
3.1 Letters Z
Any group of two letters beginning with the letter Z indicates the axial external dimensions of the cylinder. 3.2 Letters U
Any group of two letters beginning with the letter U indicates the external dimensions of the side view of the cylinder or accessory. 3.3 Letters W, X, Y, z
Any group of two letters beginning with the letters W, X, Y or Z indicates the axial dimensions starting from the reference point. 3.4 Letters H
Any group of two letters ending with the letter H, except letters beginning with C, U, W, X, Y, Z, indicates the center height of the cylinder relative to the mounting surface.
3.5Symbols +, ++, +/
The symbol + after a letter indicates adding the stroke of the cylinder: For example: ZJ+=ZJ plus stroke
The symbol ++ after a letter indicates adding twice the stroke: For example: ZM++=ZM plus twice the stroke
The symbol +/ after a letter indicates adding half the stroke: For example: XV+/-XV plus half the stroke
3.6Dimension representation method
See Figures 1 to 3 for the dimension representation method.

|4 Installation type code
4.1 General
GB 9094--88
The installation type code of the cylinder consists of two letters and a number. The installation structure type is indicated by the following letters: Letters
Note: 1) The piston rod end is the front end, and the other end is the rear end. Example:
